This post seems to confirm most of ViewerAnon's statements asw: https://commaful.com/play/starwarstheory/10-quick-spoilers-for-star-wars-the-last-jedi/
even though some of these spoilers are personally a bit disappointing imo, I've always believed it's how the storyline is put together rather than the plot points themselves. People universally so far say it's good so i'm inclined to believe it. Just enjoy the show folks :x
I have some of my older work here, but most of it has been in local publications - and once a short children's book when I was in elementary school myself through my school's publishing program.
Baked potatoes are the best! My favorite lately when I don't make it myself is a local place that makes a baked potato that comes with pulled pork, bacon bits, cheese, and butter because it's my dad and I's favorite thing to get together for a special treat.

All of these are amazing for challenging your writing skills and developing your ability to write. It depends on your way of writing aswell, if you're a planner or if you wing it on the spot. Regardless, write about things you enjoy and feel like you can write about.
There are many places to post original works all over the internet. You may want to search for what specific genre or style you work in, because niche forums are useful for specific feedback. But in general, Wattpad.com is incredibly active. Medium.com has a lot of original works being posted as well. I've never used it, but I've heard commaful.com is pretty active these days as well.
You really should, sometime! Maybe not here, though. I bet some places like /r/shortstories, /r/SLEEPSPELL/, https://commaful.com/, or if we're looking for feedback, /r/DestructiveReaders.
I kinda figured this would be a good place to share something other's might share interest in, but I think it's got a little different feeling than that.
