You could look at criptext Criptext. I know it's not officially endorsed by privacytools but it's free and your only limit is the available space on the device you chose to use the service with. My biggest concern is emails in transit but it's definitely a step up from having to use gmail.
why a throw away? For Temp use or Business ? Syop using free account use a paid one with options..
Many choices but here is criptext based in iceland www.criptext.com very slick for mobile and desktop
Cryptext is nothing which is compatible to what we commonly refer to as email (smtp, imap, pop, whatever). It is something that looks and feels like email but on the protocol layer it is something else. Also you cannot send an encrypted "email" from a cryptext account to e.g. a googlemail account:
Hi,

Appreciate your comments. Thanks very much
I've jumped onto Criptext as me email service to get away from Gmail. Criptext also has its own email client, which is how you use Criptext, it's not portable to other email clients. The thing that's different about Criptext is that they store the email on your device, it's not stored anywhere else. Criptext makes encrypted email simple when you need it, also read receipts (turn on in settings) stay on and you are notified the second someone opens up that email you've sent!
Sorry for the rambling, I haven't slept in... Oh I don't know, a day or so? :D
