html { background: #000 !important; }
body { background-color: #FFF !important; }
em, img, svg, image, video, audio, embed, iframe, object, button, canvas, figure:empty { filter: invert(100%) grayscale(0%) hue-rotate(180deg) !important; }
.text-gray-dark { color: initial !important; }
.gh-header { background: #FFF !important; }
/u/rctgamer3 Thanks for answering all these questions :)
I've got a quick one -- what's the policy on addons that don't seem to be doing anything obviously malicious, but which claim to be open source and don't seem to be? E.g. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/dark-mode-webextension/?src=search claims to be MPL2, but the website doesn't have a link to any source code (there's 'fork me on github' text but it doesn't actually link anywhere, and can't find it with github search). I emailed the dev a month ago to point out the broken link and ask for the source code, but no reply.

Glad you got a chuckle. The font thing is probably my settings and the fact that I'm on Arch Linux (btw). Vomited Eggplant as in the demo is an off-green with purple letters.
It's now looking normal after an update and cleaning my cache, so I have no clue now. ;-;
There are several decent browser extensions which can do dark mode for all sites, not just specific to CR. One that works for Chrome, Firefox and Opera is actually called "Dark Mode", with something like 30-40 different color scheme choices.
> other methods are inefficient and break as you mentioned.
I use Dark Mode and it's neither very inefficient nor does it break things.
Setting it up is trivial and less work than writing this reddit post was for you.
Dunno if OP will see this, but any chance of adding a Dark mode for your site?
I use this addon to make it dark (example), but it'd still be nice if there was an official dark mode that also darkened the yellow area.
Dark mode is a good one... 30+ color combinations to choose from, works in Chrome, Firefox and Opera (links to the appropriate extension "stores" are icons near the top)
