I did a Google search for: how to do duplex scanning with a simplex scanner
You have various options.
One option: The free version of VueScan can convert two simplex scan collections into one duplex PDF using the "PDF | Interleave" command. But VueScan will probably leave a watermark on all scanned pages. Please see these instructions.
Another option: You can use an online PDF interleaving service, such as this one. I don't think the service leaves a watermark.
A third option: Maybe you could visit a public library, print shop, or Internet cafe, and could ask if they have a duplex scanner.
I didnt know there was an option to edit pdfs...
Does anyone know if its possible to add a margin to every page on the right in the pdf so that i have more space to take notes?
Im using DeftPDF right now but a shortcut would be a way better workflow as i have to do this alot lol
>Well, so, now this sparked my interest, how come Facebook allows users to attach pdf files for instance? Shouldn't Facebook be worried about all the issues then too?
Well, for starters - Reddit is ranked #19. Facebook is ranked #7 (and #3 if we don't count China). Their scale is different (half a trillion vs 2 billion). So their technical level is that much more developed and has that many more resources poured into it. Facebook seemingly can afford to inspect every file upload and has tools to do that (or maybe it just avoids countries where this is required and sticks to markets without such laws).
Besides that - does Facebook actually allow users to FREELY attach pdf files? Like, can I literally make a public profile and put a pdf file there? I actually don't use this site but looking at google:

There are multiple limitations on where you can upload such things. A business can do that with their menu, you can send it in private messages and you can do that in closed groups. However you can't place them in your profile apparently. So there's a disconnect already.
It's likely also part of their business model - I know that Google for instance reserves rights to freely read your email, every google docs document you worked on, every file uploaded and whatnot. And they make loads of money off that as it makes their profiling that much more accurate. So they offset the costs of storage and law abiding by making up for them with better targeted ads.
