BTW... I like using http://www.battware.co.uk/desktopticker.htm for my RSS Ticker.
it's free (and I'm not the dev)
makes for an unobtrusive way to glance at what's new.
We had something that looked similar on our work PCs at my last job called Desktop Ticker, which was RSS based. I imagine this will just be tied to the Microsoft News systems rather than configure it for particular news sites.
If you know where the RSS feeds are, there is software that I use called Desktop Ticker
I use mine to show me news articles, but there are feeds for sports scores/news/etc. This scrolls across the bottom/top of the screen like a news/stock ticker. It shows me the headline, but if there is an article that looks promising, I can click it and it goes to news report. The font size can be increased to something a little more manageable.
I don't use a web based. I really like the ticker style readers.
Do you know anything better in that style than this http://www.battware.co.uk/desktopticker.htm ?
