It's amazing for this - you start out as a young child then grow up as you play and make your name. Really cool game. There are sequels too, though their quality varies and is a matter of personal taste.
Black and White 1 and 2. A truly unique god game that is totally worth your time, with its interesting game play and giant fucking monster pet things and pretty hilarious characters it truly makes up a fantastic combination. Black and White Black and White 2 Cause who dosen't want a robust giant cow of whopass
I can't speak on the song - which just sounds like some church song done with a vocorder - but the video is made with The Movies which makes it really easy to make trippy shit like that.
Dang, so many choices, the short anwser is I want ALL of them, however since I am limited.
1, Vampire the masquerade bloodlines (Someone actually got it sort of working and it was awesomeness, just needs updated graphics, menus..etc)
2, Original Dawn of War with all its expansions and updated graphics/controls (where I could play like a god and manipulate units overhead like chess pieces, or possess individual units and actually play the character in the world itself and see it from the units POV).
3, The Movies (pretty cool original game created by lionhead where it was a sim game where you made movies. The cool thing was that you ACTUALLY MADE MOVIES. You had a studio, you made props, you got NPC actors, constructors, had a writing crew, film crew..etc. I would like that, but also possess and take over an NPC, not just you, but bring in your friends as well. You could play the stars, hell, you could actually make real movies using the virtual props/settings/special affects...wow, such a cool concept.)
If you like the film-making concept, there's also The Movies (and its expansion, Stunts and Effects) from Lionhead. You can even manually direct the films that your studio makes, and watch/share them.
Sadly, not free, and can sometimes be tricky to run on Win7/8, maybe Vista too.
