I'd like to recommend an app called みてね aka FamilyAlbum by Mixi. It's a free photo sharing app with premium options. You set up your kid/kids in the app with birthday and everything and then upload your photos and videos (3 minutes in the free version, 10 minutes in the premium version) to your heart's content.
You can then share the album with select family members (invited via e-mail or link) and they can access it from their own app (a browser version is also available).
With my wife's parents 3 hours away and my parents on the other side of the world, it's been great to share photos and videos of our son without having to resort to stuff like Facebook or whatever SNS is popular in your home country.
You can also create physical photo albums to gift on special occasions.
I’m sorry your going through this! My husband and I knew family posting pictures without permission was definitely going to be a thing before our baby was born so we set boundaries and now when our family wants to post a picture they know to ask us first.
We also use an app called FamilyAlbum where we can invite only certain family members and post all of our pictures without it being tied to any other social media site at all. If they post something without our permission I’ll just delete their access to the app... Most of the older family members don’t know how to get the pictures from that app to FaceBook anyways.
My sis in law and us both paid for this awesome app called family album.
Download it and have a look. It arranged pics in order of when they were taken, not when they were uploaded so you don’t have to worry about when and what order you upload.
You can also add other people who can either just view or also add pics and videos. They even have add on things you can buy like photo albums or calendars printed etc.
We’ve found it amazing so far and no capacitynn be limit. Cost $8!
We love FamilyAlbum, an app for phones and computers. It's free and they don't sell your info. They make their money from people buying albums, like Chatbooks. You can set it so others can add pictures as well. My older relatives have found it easy to use and it keeps everyone from posting pictures of our kiddo on social media.
