Instructables is still good.
I find I use more single use / or "tool" websites now. Lots of these are probably obvious but here you go.
WhatsApp web app: https://web.whatsapp.com for chat with friends so I can connect up with my laptop and message from there
Follow shows to track the TV I enjoy: https://followshows.com/
Letterboxd : https://letterboxd.com/ to track the films I want to watch. (I was using movieo but the search is broken as fuck) (also for films IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes.)
maps.google.com It's probably obvious but I'm on this all the time, it's probably one of the most useful and most interesting things on the internet today. minor mention to maps.bing.com, not because it works well but because they have alternative imagery and another service in some cities called "birds eye view" that gives you angled imagery from a plane instead of a satellite.
Some webcomics, but they often just get posted on reddit now.
Vimeo for video, lots of good short films there instead of just viral stuff.
Torrent sites too of course...
Make an account, follow shows. Shows you what airs when what comes back when and allows you to track what you watched already. Has an Android app that I bought just to support this invaluable site :)
I just use this site https://followshows.com/ to track when new seasons/episodes come out. So according to that site (info that has been published for quite some time) "Stranger Things - Season 2 Episode 1 - In 4 months - October 31"
