http://fontastic.me/ lets you choose from catalogs of pre-exisiting icons, specify CSS class selectors and upload your own svgs then it turns it into one file and can host it on a CDN for you. Fantastic service.
What I did was I used this app to extract the icons of all the apps on my phone (or you could just use google). Once I had the icons, I used a photo tracing tool like this to give them the look they have now. You can then download the icons as image files (png) and use them in KLWP as is, OR, if you want more customizability, you could convert those pngs into svgs and use Fontastic to turn them into fonts
ok, here's how to do it. this took all of 10 mins to do so it's REALLY simple. Here's a link to the .ai file so you can follow along with the steps. http://www.filedropper.com/fontwork
Hope this helps.
I'm a bit shocked to not find these ones in the article:
FontAwesome is hands-down a perfect resource, containing every icon you might possibly need in FED! And all free, of course. FontAwesome is a great source to start!
Fontastic is is an even broader resource, as it allow you to create your own icon fonts from svg in their web interface! And they feature some cool open source icon sets to start with, as well. And they allow for fetchng the fonts in your projects on their hosted cdn, so there is absolutely no hassling around static assets!
Both of the above will make your icon life waaaaay easier :) Or at least they make my life a lot easier :p
Hi! I created my font using http://fontastic.me. It allows you to import svg as font. So I imported those icons.
If you want them, just import my font into fontastic! :) https://github.com/skjnldsv/dotfiles/raw/master/.local/share/fonts/customfontastic.svg
http://fontastic.me allows you to make custom icon sets and download them. It's my favorite tool for this. fontawesome is good but can add quite a bit of weight to your pages if you used the entire set.

Here is how I'd try to make creating one of these go faster:
Basically I notice some VERY strong patterns of repetition across the table, and think you could leverage this to make it go faster.
You could also drop bitmaps of the tables in and create a quick mask, to hide everything but the upper/left/right/bottom/middle symbol (as appropriate) while typing them into your text boxes.
Man!! Me too!! I signed up and I'm going through their lists. It's awesome!!
Edit: Whoops, wrong one I meant Fontastic. I'm downloading font-awesome right now though. Anything else you can tell me about it?
