GameRoom seems to be exactly that, but I haven't tried it yet.
I'll give it a go and see if it's worth getting.
EDIT: It's fairly unpolished, and annoying to manage with a large library. It does do what it says, though, and it syncs up your library from every launcher really well. It does a really good job scanning your drives for games too, it was a pretty quick set up. It even finds all the steam games you don't have installed. Like I said before though you need to confirm the cover art and details for every game that you own, and it takes quite a while to go through that.
I really like the sorting options, though. It lets you sort by genre, theme, series, Metascore, release date and more. Given some more polish and some UI options like controller and fullscreen support, this could very well be exactly the app needed to finally have just one launcher for everything.
GameRoom does what you're looking for. I am not super familiar with Playnite, but from the way OP describes it, GameRoom more or less has the same features. It's also free, unless you want to use the emulator features, that requires the purchase of a supporter key for ~$10. IMO GameRoom looks a little nicer than Playnite too; I liked it enough I ended up buying a supporter key after a few weeks of use (and a desire to play with the emulator features).
If you're mainly interested in seeing how long you play, Game Backup Monitor is always an option - tiny program, keep it running in the background. When you're finished playing a game, it backs up the savedata (useful for those single-save games like AC that tend to corrupt) and also tracks and displays a playtime count.
As for appearing in a library, pirate games can be added to Steam, or you could use [PlayNite](https://playnite.link/ or GameRoom.
Sad to hear that..
For which games is it happening ? Steam games or .exe games ?
And can you send me your log files, as described here at the end of the page --> https://gameroom.me/bug-report ?
Please reformat to follow the instructions :)
Also, I've produced a new .exe, please also delete your ToAdd folder and Games folder (this will reinitialize your Games library, but necessary to fix this images issue)
Try this hotfix
This recognize if your size value saved is the minimum one, and increment it of 0.00001 (values are between 0.1 and 0.675). Although this is barely noticable, this isn't enough yet and I'll continue my debugging while providing this small hotfix

Use the https://gameroom.me/features to download and install your games from any platform and even find other useful information. You can read the features on the link :)
Thanks. I did a little research yesterday and found Playnite, which looked the most promising. Also :
Wondering if anyone here can vouch for GameRoom -- apparently it combines your various libraries into one interface (Steam/GoG/Origin [yeah I know, EA sucks]). It ain't open source, so was hoping to get a yay or nay from my ascended brethren.
Sorry, I just saw your comment here.
Thanks to the feedback of some users, I've updated GameRoom.exe, available here for the moment as it is still in testing. Can you tell me if this version fixes you issue?
looks like it's some properties file access denied, which results in the chosen size not being saved.
I'm currently working on using the AppData folder by default to avoid such errors, can you replace your current GameRoom.exe by this one, and tell me if it fixes it; otherwise provide me the log (you can go in GameRoom's setting screen, check "Advanced", and click on "Open logs" to see your log folder)
[FIXED] Good Job, i download the version from here: https://gameroom.me/software/GameRoom.exe and now work.
But i must start the program 2 times to work. First time will create the log file and second time will create the other folders.
