Is anyone excited for the app from Sound Hound called Hound? And would someone be interested in integrating it with Siri somehow. What are your guys opinions of it? Here is a link if you don't know what I am talking about.
For those curious, Hound was able to give me the calories in One piece of Bacon, and one egg and cheese sandwhich. Although it did total it for me. 394 according to this.
The "where can i eat lunch for 600 calories or less" query is actually realistic, but not implemented anywhere. May be an interesting concept for anyone designing an app. I guess the problem would be location type stuff. Do you sort it by distance or by calorie? etc.
Calories left in my diet today: This is actually on it's way. Apple has something for it as well. Both are working on allowing apps to basically turn into features. You'll be able to say "See how many calories I have left for the day" and it will respond with "X calories left for today" - Powered by My Fitness Pal or some such. So that's fun.
