C'mon...I checked Minetime out, the only app I didn't know about yet and I visited its GitHub page:
>MineTime is no longer mainteined. For the latest features, improvements and security patches, please check out the next-generation calendar app Morgen at https://morgen.so
They have two weeks trial. I will check that out.
Anyways, thanks, nice suggestion. There is also https://morgen.so/. I suppose that it should work in a similar way.
p.s., It is developed in Switzerland (same as AM), because I got an impression that that is important point on this subreddit. :D
Glad to hear that you like it. You can find our privacy policy here. Most notably, we don’t collect access credentials to your accounts (by default) and no calendar data is stored on our servers. Morgen primarily runs and processes data on your computer locally. As of now, it is not open source.
We have been working on a solution called Morgen. Works on Linux (as well as Windows and Mac) and you can sync all of your calendars. We have also recently added task scheduling and more is in the pipeline. Check it out and let us know if it is what you're looking for.
That is the exact same experience we had. There is no visually appealing, cross-platform multi-calendar desktop application. And since it is not unusual to have two or three different calendar providers and to work on more than one operating system, we decided to build Morgen…truthfully spoken, to solve our own issue. Anyways, we are happy that you like it so far. There is more to come. Regarding your comment that Morgen doesn’t quite give you one-click access to your meetings, can you clarify this? We would like to look into it. Currently, we already have the capability to “quick-join” by opening up your upcoming meeting from the application’s notifications which might come in handy in the meantime. With the new update we also added a floating quick-join button within the application. Let us know if that solves it for you.
