Check out Olark! You're able to ensure that your clients have a direct line to you, we offer white labeling, we have a instant messenger style mobile version of the chat box so your clients can chat with you on the go (no push notifications yet though) and you're able to customize the look and text of the chat box. We also have a ton of other helpful features like targeted messaging, a variety of integrations, and a powerful API. We're also very reasonably priced :)
I am happy you are a person who doesn't mind constructive feedback. The fact that you chose a specific niche instead of going with a general store, and you already know your target audience, gives you a huge chance for marketing your store effectively.
A few comments which will help your store build trust:
Hope my feedback is helpful. Let me know if you need some more help.
There is a nice article about live chats and the boost it can bring to your business: http://neilpatel.com/blog/live-chat/
We tried and stick with Olark (https://www.olark.com/). It was easy to implement, integration is good and the pricing is competitive.
Have you had a look at Olark We use them, they have a free trial so you can check them out. All I would say is their JavaScript package is huge (makes 11 requests @ 172KB) and the button is pretty ugly - aside from that it's worth a look :)
hey there - we wrote a blog post a while back on how we've used trello to streamline our comms and project management process: https://www.olark.com/customers/our-world-is-no-longer-flat
tl;dr - we have one trello board for all projects in progress, and individual trellos for different groups within our org. all projects move from left to right as they progress. each project card has a PM head attached to it so we know who to approach for answers and accountability
General info over some scaling issues with different filesystems on linux (note this is from 2010 so some things have changed). Also note that there is a lot of tuning for most any filesystem to go very high inode count. http://events.linuxfoundation.org/slides/2010/linuxcon2010_wheeler.pdf
An example of what happens when you dump lots of files into a flat directory. You will see performance slow to a halt at some point and most non-specific tools will start to fail.
Basically if all of these types of issues are not well known to you so you are actively designing mitigations you are much better off using a system like S3 where someone else who understands it has already done this for you -- or just jump forward blindly and try not to be surprised when you run into well known engineering problems...
