Yeah, the iOS 9 - 9.0.2 jailbreak is out! You can download it here. Note that if you updated to iOS 9.0.2 through OTA (Settings app), then you will need to restore through iTunes with a fresh IPSW to avoid issues with the jailbreak. The program itself is pretty self-explanatory; You plug in your device, hit start, and follow the on-screen instructions. (Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed, put your device in Airplane mode, and turn off Find My iPhone//Passcode. Hope I was of assistance to you.
9to5 are full of it . . .
Check PanGu's website and see . . .
I'm waiting for PanGu8 1.1 just in case there are any last minute fixes.
I don't want to have to restore/rejailbreak even if there is only a slim chance . . .
Pangu would make their announcements in Chinese, and second, any source claiming they have a working jailbreak on Google+ is almost certainly lying.
Check pangu.io for official confirmation of a jailbreak from them.
/u/alextroncelliti is right, but if you absolutely must see cydia on your homescreen then here:
iOS 8 Jailbreak: http://pangu.io/
Cydia: http://apt.saurik.com/debs/cydia_1.1.13_iphoneos-arm.deb
How to: Use an SSH application (Winscp/cyberduck) log into your iPhone with the IP address found in your settings, and the password will be "alpine" no quotations though.
Navigate to /var/root/Media
Make a folder called Cydia, in that make a folder called AutoInstall, drop the deb into there, reboot device. Cydia should be on your homescreen. If it's not, try rebooting a few times. Eventually it will be.
I'd do it this way:
I removed this because the English without computer is a site re-hosting which we don't allow and the video isn't allowed either due to showing a mirrored site. Feel free to edit and remove those then let me know so I can approve. Also for the Chinese with computer, may be better to link to http://pangu.io/?flag=cn/ since it's got more info.
OTA method is at http://j.25pp.com. Then click on the button and it will take you to some Chinese tutorial. Google the tutorial if you don't know how to do it (without a PC). This does install the 25PP Chinese jailbreak app. http://pangu.io is the English version, but requires a PC.
Edit: Fixed first link
I downloaded Pangu from http://pangu.io/. The iFile was a suggestion I found online which didn't do anything.
The iPad has been jailbroken in the past but I lost it accidentally through an update without removing any of the old cydia stuff.
I wouldn't jailbreak if i were you, i dont have i4 but i heared from people who jailbroke their i4 at iOS 7 and has tons of lags. But that is just me, u should look at the sidebar for more info, or if you feel like YOLO you can just go to http://pangu.io if you are on 7.1.x or http://evasi0n.com if you are on 7.0.x and try it yourself. I think you should search for youtube vids that shows a walkthrough.
Alright, found a fix guys. At least for me. I'm assuming you all are using the link that was posted on Twitter or on Reddit like myself? Well, i went directly to the source http://pangu.io/ .. I restored once again via iTunes.. Closed iTunes.. Opened the new Pangu app... un-check the box and voila. Hope it helps.
Edit: I also forgot to add I was still using the brand new 1.0.1 version the first time it worked. When I unchecked the box it still installed the Chinese store.. so maybe that was just a super bunk version. Anyways, use the above link and everything should go fine.
You shouldn't lose any data when you jailbreak, but backup in iTunes to be safe.
The latest Jailbreak for 7.1.x can be found at http://pangu.io/en/
If you want any help, come on over to /r/jailbreak
just go here http://pangu.io/ Download, plug your phone in, set the date on your phone to June 2 at 6:00pm and press jailbreak.
Do a backup on your phone before hand. The chances of anything going wrong are very slim, but this is in case you want to undo the jailbreak. You would need to reset your phone to factory defaults.
Backup to iCloud now while you have the chance and then restore your device in iTunes to iOS 7.1.2. Once your device is restored and your backup has restored then you can jailbreak the device using Pangu.
I'm Jailbroken and it's working great. You can restore right now to 7.1.2 and JB with Pangu. Use 'Source Saver' and 'APTBackup' to backup and restore all of your sources/tweaks/tweak settings.
Hello! I've removed your post because you've provided a link to what is believed to be a site that provides fake jailbreaks. It's best to not link to these sites for any reason because it gives them unnecessary publicity as well as advertising money.
