https://www.pluckeye.net/eg.plu is old syntax. See https://www.pluckeye.net/eg2.plu
Instead of "raw time" syntax, it might be easier to do:
pluck + when T730-1045 allow everything
and to simply remove the rule after you're done with it (i.e. after Tuesday at 10:45 am)
pluck - when T730-1045 allow everything
>To anyone who's made it farther than I have, what helped you?
Consider seriously what you can do to cut away occasions of sin. Like "What can I do that will make it so that even if I want to sin it is impossible to do so or will be very uncomfortable." Though I should advise you that the advice I have to give probably works well, but it is at the cost of being very uncomfortable because you will have to rely on your parents for this.
Something that helped me very much was that I took all of the keys of rooms that I can be alone in and gave them to my mother and asked for her to not let me take them. I also leave my phone in their room if I'm being tempted and I ask her to not let me take it at night time.
Also get Pluckeye. It's really good. If your parents are going somewhere, consider asking them to tell you in advance, so that you wont be all of a sudden met with temptation when your parents suddenly tell you "hey we're going to X place, bye." Once you know that you're gonna be alone, turn on Pluckeye and find a way to get rid of your phone (you can do this probably by just asking one of your parents to take it with them or just hide it somewhere you won't find it).
After I recently started doing this, I was able to go farther than I had ever gone before in a long while and even temptations that would normally be there are no longer there because sinning is not even a possibility most of the time.
TY!
> How did you upload the rules, and is pluck export showing any rules?
Via the CLI: pluck upload
>That is, did the upload move them online and remove the local set?
Not that I'm aware. A rules export just now (16:52 EDT) contains my entire rule set.

Thank you for your help.
edit: The Mint install is 32 bit.
edit 2: OK , sysinspect-linux32 is running now. I'll copy the results and upload them when it finishes.
edit 3: The file is 612.2MB. Is this normal, and; if so, where should I upload it to?
This happened out of the blue without an upgrade? What OS are you using?
You may want to run a sysinspect report for Jon.
I have never had to use it, but I've see the following in the release notes:
pluck repair
Pluckeye's default behavior is to allow you to visit all websites but not see any photos, so it sounds like you just need to "allow" more sites. In other words, go to my-good-site.com, click the Pluckeye icon, and choose "allow." After one delay has passed, you will will be able to see images on that site.
If you want your set up to be that you can access everything except during your block times, take a look at the "all-access" recipe.
Regarding Chromium, it sounds like the Pluckeye extension was not installed, but even if it were it would follow the same rules as Firefox (visit sites but not see images). You may be able to manually add it depending upon what your Pluckeye rules allow.
By the way, if you need to see what sites you have "allowed" in Pluckeye, open a terminal and type the command
pluck export
> I'm using level 2 with NHB disbaled and it's working fine
Good! You can experiment more with NHB. But, if it causes you further problems, you might have to disable NHB and then wait one delay for it to finish shutting off.
> What exactly does NHB do btw?
NHB is a feature which stops certain unapproved software from accessing the Internet. It may have other effects also; I'm not sure. Jon would know more information.
I don't use NHB. I think it may still be an experimental option. If it causes you problems, I don't think you need to use it.
> I'm in serious need of rehab or something to be very honest.
A) Do you want suggestions? And, if so, what types of websites are you using Pluckeye in order to try to avoid?
> "unable to reach this site" or something along these lines.
B) That isn't a sufficiently-exact description of the problem. If it happens again, please do grab a screenshot and a Sysinspect capture.
Note that, if you don't have any Internet access, you can't download Sysinspect. So you might want to download it before the problem starts again.
Have you tried https://www.pluckeye.net/? In the program you can set a delay time, so that all changes are only applied after the time. E.g. you disable the blocker or remove a website, but your delay time is 5 days, that means it will actually only be unblocked after 5 days.
The examples page lists these forms of when:
when M10-12&13-15.T1-2 block everything when 0000-0600 block everything when MTWRF0800-1200&1300-1700 block a.pluckeye.net when 201505301100-201505301130 block b.pluckeye.net when now+30m block c.pluckeye.net when F10-12 allow d.pluckeye.net
The manual's when page explains the syntax and also points to an online tool to help you get the formatting right.
Did Pluckeye have enough time (1 delay) for the rule to be accepted before it had to go into effect? I don't remember whether pending rules show up in your u.pluckeye configuration until they become effective.
How about Pluckeye - https://www.pluckeye.net/what-is-pluckeye.html
NonTech advice -- its easier to move toward something than it is to quit something. So I would rephrase whatever you're leaving as going toward something else.
Pluckeye. It's free and it's the best thing around. It was designed specifically for porn addiction, by a guy who apparently knows quite a bit about the subject. Just read the faqs and get a sense for how the software works. Also, you can download it for android (hope you do have android then).

As somewhat of a last resort (or maybe a first resort, depending on how you view this willpower thing), i suggest you use pluckeye. It's a filter, designed specifically for porn addicts, and it's free. I have nothing to do with it, i just used it in the past, and i find it to be the only filter that seems unbypassable (not unless you know c++, and even then, maybe not - i don't really know). Read the faqs to find out how it works. You can pretty much do it all through the command line, and costumize the filters any way you like it. You can specifically block that website. Pluckeye functions on the concept of delay: you can set your browser viewing characteristics, and set a delay of a week, for example - that means that on the following week, no other changes can be made (including uninstalling pluckeye). You can effectively set a delay of 2 years if you want. There's the possibility of going overboard with it and fucking something up, but at least the possibility of effective babysitting is there.
If you don't want something like this in your life, you can always try to better your discipline the hard way. I have a post on that subject. To me, this should be the preferred approach, because it transcends porn usage/porn abstinence, and impacts you as a human being in other regards which may be lacking.
I aint no computer scientist but i would say disabling images is very easy. You can try Pluckeye for that purpose, among many others. It should block all images by default once installed, if not, you can ask for help from the folks at r/pluckeye.
Ps: If you were to use this for actual filtering, i suggest you take your time learning how it works before setting a long delay like 3 days..
The examples page gives this advanced method for setting a delay that affects one site. Is that what you want?
> # To set a 3 hour delay for unblocking youtube.com:
delay 3h - action:block host:youtube.com
That rule parses as 'make a delay of 3 hours to remove a block action on the youtube website.'
Maybe you're experiencing the bug Jon explained in this comment. Maybe not.
If not, I would encourage you to:
Are you able to access pluckeye.net and ipluck.net, even if you can't access any other websites?
If so, I would encourage you to:

https://floorplanner.com/demo works for me using Pluckeye 1.0.37/11.10.56 with factory default rules plus pluck + allow floorplanner.com
.
Please provide either:
a link to your configuration on https://u.pluckeye.net/ ,
your full and complete Pluckeye configuration .
The pluck sync
command is giving the bug message?
You could see if pluck upload
gives you any better results.
If you are desperate to get your setting on u.pluckeye, look at these directions for steps on how to manually copy your configuration to your account.
If you think this bug requires a fix, you can send a Sysinspect file in for examination.
Are you using the DNS block-bad-sites method?
I upgraded to 1.0.24 myself this week and found some bugs (that I have not had time to report). I suggest you send in a bug report with a Sysinspect.
I'm not a lawyer.
I guess you mean this internship position, which (interestingly) is not listed on the Pluckeye careers page.
What will the intern gain from the internship, if any? Money? If so, (approximately) how much money per hour or per week, and in which currency?
How many hours per week will the internship be?
How interested is the intern? How likely is it that they'll actually stick around?
You said the intern is a student. Will the student gain "co-op" (co-operative education) credit through their high school, community college, or university?
Please see https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html . Along with your submission, please describe relevant details such as whether you're a new Pluckeye user, or if you have used it successfully and then it started to fail, and if so, all reasons you can think of that pluck might not be found.
I really like Pluckeye, it has a different approach, you basically block all media content and then whitelist allowed domains.
There are also accountablility programs like Accountable2You
All the others i tried sadly do not work on linux... :(
If you're using Chrome, Brave, or Vivaldi, then Pluckeye should show up. In that case, hmm... see https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html .
But Pluckeye doesn't support Safari, and it won't show up in Firefox unless you do more:
Hi and thanks for your time! Yes, I'm following exactly the commands suggested in the Pluckeye installation page: https://www.pluckeye.net/how-to-install.html
If you have any other idea it will be welcomed.
Some things I really like are Pluckeye. Check it out, it might help!
Also I tried using Accountable2You. You can check this one out too.
However, the best thing for me was configuring my router to not give my devices internet access in the time I typically craved the most for porn. Works best if anyone you trust adds a password to the router. You might make sure to cancel your mobile data plan, otherwise this kind of defeats the point.
> Failed to post bug: -35
That is probably unrelated to the failure to remove the rule.
That message indicates that Pluckeye has detected a bug at some point in the past, but failed to post it to the bug reporting server. Many times such "bugs" are benign. But, occasionally, there is a significant bug. Perhaps you are hitting one.
Links for bugs:
No. See known issue #1 in https://www.pluckeye.net/readme-windows.txt .
You may want to read https://manual.pluckeye.net/how-to-block-only-bad-sites as I think that setup would achieve much of the same things for which you want Qustodio.
I don't know about systemd.
Regarding syntax rules, pluck --more-help
is a nice terse summary. I typically refer to the examples page, but the release notes can have useful tidbits. The FAQ has more topic-related command examples.
Odd! That's not supposed to happen.
As Jon said, if you can access https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html, please use that. Otherwise, you might like to phone our phone-support team; we can help you for free.
Pluckeye consists of a browser extension, plus some system-level components. I suspect you might have only uninstalled the browser extension. What steps did you take in order to uninstall Pluckeye?
Someone made a list of NSFW subreddits (probably not all of them) that predated the shared configuration system. Folks who wanted to use it could import it into their rule set.
The Windows ruleset.
Some of the history.
I'm sure the community would benefit from someone creating and maintaining such a list.
How did you upload the rules, and is pluck export
showing any rules? That is, did the upload move them online and remove the local set?
Does pluck eval domain.com
shed any insight?
If for some reason the pluckeye domain resolves, you can download sysinspect via CLI and get a snapshot while Pluckeye is misbehaving.
https://www.pluckeye.net/downloads/sysinspect/sysinspect-linux
https://www.pluckeye.net/downloads/sysinspect/sysinspect-linux32
Hmm. I wonder if something is stuck in your Chrome profile, or if somehow Pluckeye did not uninstall completely. If you want to verify the latter, use and send the output of https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html . As for the former, I think you can reset Chrome using chrome://settings > Advanced > Reset Settings to original defaults.
I'm quite curious what the outcome will be; I don't want Pluckeye to linger on when the user has uninstalled it...
Hi /u/Rick-Danko!
Jon writes:
"If you are a Pluckeye user, the best way to support this project is through a subscription. ... If that's something you are not comfortable with, we welcome one-time donations [through PayPal]. But be aware, such gifts do not count as a subscription, and you will still receive reminders to remunerate. You can request periodic freebies on the normal subscription page if you feel that you've offered fair remuneration using other means."
If you'd like to request a freebie:
If you try requesting a freebie using my instructions, please let us know whether or not the instructions worked, and whether or not I could make the instructions better somehow.
I don't know. Maybe there's a software conflict.
That might be just as well, as it may be that Pluckeye is not be a good fit for you.
If you decide Pluckeye is what you want, use a nil delay when testing level 2. If everything is blocked, go back to level 1, download https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html , go back to level 2, take a snapshot with the program , and then go back to level 1, and send me the snapshot.
Or, if you think Pluckeye isn't a good match, see https://filters.pluckeye.net/ for alternatives.
If you open a console and type this command:
pluck + allow ytimg.com
then youtube will show all of the thumbnails but will not play any of the videos. You can search, find the video you want, and use the allow button to start the countdown on watching the videos you have chosen.
Yes! I emailed him on pluckeye.com and he responded.
" suggest you:
Save your settings
Do this:
a. upgrade to 0.99.53
b. pluck repair
c. reboot
If you still get unexpected errors, run sysinspect and send me the
output.
- Jon "
I tried this and currently I'm running v99.60 without any issues! I did have to redo my settings but I'm glad it works now.
> I'm on version 99.30, by the way.
Thank you for mentioning this.
Before seeking support, if possible, it's probably usually best to try upgrading to the latest version.
Why not try upgrading to 0.99.60 or better? If you're dissatisfied for some reason, you can switch back to 0.99.30.
The paper and pencil method:
pluck + 20200630090000-20200630133000 allow everything
.I'm afraid I don't agree at present, for several reasons, and I'm afraid I can't address them all in the time I have. Suffice it to say, that although in the past I thought Pluckeye might be open sourced, nowadays I'm convinced that open sourcing Pluckeye would leave some people out in the cold: developers and the code-literate in particular. But who knows? Maybe I'm wrong.
If you yourself would like to contribute to Pluckeye work, let me know, and we can chat about what that would mean.
The syntax has changed. From pluckeye.net:
> # The 'allow everything' rule a high priority setting that overrides > # all other filtering except for 'block everything'. It used to be > # called "whiteout".
> allow everything
Pluckeye doesn't (yet?) do automatic updates.
You can update to v0.99.x at any time.
I haven't updated the final (default) release wave from v0.98.15 to v0.99.x because v0.99.x, containing substantial changes, has been more unstable than previous minor versions of Pluckeye. I'm still kinda waiting for people to tell me that v0.99.49 avoids the intermittent network failure in Chrome.
> "onetime" rules stick around
It's a known issue that'll probably be fixed eventually. If you want to remove them manually:
pluck export | grep '^when 20' | pluck unimport -
> a scheduled whiteout that was supposed to end an hour ago, but it's still active.
Hmm. That doesn't sound like the minor bug I just fixed. If you want to help, next time it happens, use sysinspect .
I found TeamViewer in the list of applications, right-clicked it, chose More, then chose Open file location.
This opened the short-cut to the program. I right-clicked the short-cut icon and chose Properties.
In the Properties window I clicked on the Shortcut tab. At the end of the Target field I saw TeamViewer.exe
Pluckeye 0.99.10 and above has this syntax for multi-user:
pluck + allow everything user:susan pluck + when 8-11 allow everything user:lucy
Welcome to Pluckeye! I'm sorry your experience has not gone well.
There has been another report about system integration (Level 2) killing the internet. It is on Jon's radar. The best time to send a SysInspect file is after you go to Level 2 and the internet cuts out since that is the system state we are interested in.
So short answer - yes, Chrome is supposed to work.
Did you try Firefox ESR or FF 74 with the add-in noted?
To anybody experiencing this, please download the latest https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html , take a snapshot while this is occurring (while Chrome is blocked and Firefox isn't, or vice-versa), and send it to me.
Old syntax (pre 0.99.x)
pluck del "program <name>.exe whiteout"
New syntax
pluck - allow program <name>.exe
Allowing a program in the new syntax could look like this:
pluck + allow program <name>.exe
New syntax resource: https://www.pluckeye.net/eg2.plu
You can cancel your subscription at https://s.pluckeye.net/unsubscribe .
You can donate at https://www.pluckeye.net/donate.html (or use Patreon, although I hope to stop using Patreon because over 10% of donations goes to Patreon instead of Pluckeye).
> How would I make the NSFW recipes work with qutebrowser that has a config/block host setup?
As much as I appreciate keyboard driven interfaces, support for qutebrowser would probably take months of dedicated work, something the project can't really afford.
> What caused P to break FF?
Firefox 74 dropped support for side-loading extensions, which is how Pluckeye integrated with Firefox (so technically, it was FF that broke Pluckeye, not vice versa). But you can use Firefox ESR. You can also use Firefox 74 with Pluckeye; it's just not officially supported.
> Why does my stuff break so much?
Pluckeye is intended to be an extreme filter, and it is used by people who prefer stuff breaking over swiss cheese. If you prefer less breakage, you could simply use level 1. But then you'd lose Pluckeye's cutting edge.
That said, "stuff" isn't very easy to discuss. Generally, Pluckeye should not cause Chrome to break (meaning crash, lose access to sites you haven't blocked, and the like), and if it does, there are probably bugs, or incompatibilities with some other software. You'll need to describe each breakage rather specifically for it to have a shot at being addressed.
> Almost every time I open Chrome on a fresh boot up I can't visit any site. I have to reopen several times or restart. It would also break mid-use. . .
Sounds like unexpected behavior. I'll troubleshoot this with you over email.
I'm not tech savvy (literally a 0) but getting to the specifics of the example, you mean entering the command:
pluck add "allow reddit.com text/html"
?
I couldn't find this rule in the 0.99 syntax that was shared above, so I tried to interpret the previous rules: https://www.pluckeye.net/eg.plu
To allow images and video:
pluck del "block image/" pluck del "block video/"
Or maybe your friend actually wants
pluck clear pluck add "allow" pluck add "level 2"
To block downloading of games, see https://www.pluckeye.net/recipes/windows/no-programs.txt
Pluckeye 99.x has a new syntax. I don't know Jon's exact plans for keeping/cutting backwards compatibility. When you upgrade to 99.x you should probably start getting used to the new syntax.
Good question. Dunno.
A) Is your configuration synchronized to u.pluckeye.net?
B) Is it shared with the public? If so, what's the URL?
C) Are you running 0.99.x and know how to use the pluck eval
command?
Pluckeye v0.98.15 works differently than v0.99.x with respect to sometimes rules. In v0.98.15, allow facebook.com
and block facebook.com
will appear and disappear according to your schedule. That is unlike v0.99.x, which is easier to understand and works more like you'd expect. If you want to try v0.99.x, see https://www.pluckeye.net/wave/asap.html .
I cannot duplicate this with Pluckeye 0.99.21 and Chromium on Linux.
Helpful details would include your OS, Pluckeye version and Chrome version.
If it is a conflict with another extension, then turning Jon may pick that out if you turn in a sysinspect report.
> I've uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version
By, "the latest version", do you mean v0.99.21?
If you want help investigating, use sysinspect to take a snapshot and send it to me.
This is a bug.
Thanks for the test. I reproduced the problem based on your settings. Here's a smaller test:
block https://singleeyesoftware.com/ whiteout
The bug is fixed in v0.99.x.
You could also use a periodic delay of 0 for work hours and disable Pluckeye during them.
You would have to specifically state the rule. For example:
pluck add "Sometimes MTWRF 0900-0930&1000-1030&1100-1130 allow youtube.com"
If you want to watch a longer video, you would have to issue the onetime command at least one delay before you want to use it. (Well, the rule above will take one delay before it goes into effect too...) That is, if your delay is 1 hour and you issue the onetime command at 10:00, don't expect to be able to watch your longer video until 11:00.
pluck add "onetime 12:00-12:45 allow youtube.com" <--won't take effect until one delay passes!
I think the above is accurate...I have a head cold and so may not be thinking clearly.
Here's a page with more syntax examples: https://www.pluckeye.net/eg.plu
Pluckeye does not block everything by default. If you want that in v0.98.15, enable NHB (~pluck add "nhb"~)
You probably want to use Pluckeye v0.99.20, as it is more feature rich on macOS and allows you to block specific programs. https://www.pluckeye.net/wave/tester/notes.html
> sites like, say, Instagram
Interesting question.
Are you aware of any sites other than Instagram that have this issue?
A hack you might or might not want: https://www.pluckeye.net/recipes/oneoff/instagram.sh
If what you mean is issuing the $which git command and putting the results into the Pluckeye command, that is certainly worth a try. The example on this page uses the syntax with the results of that command.
pluck add "program /usr/bin/git whiteout"
I suspect that you know you have access to suckless.org by going there with a browser, but you can always specify that it is allowed.
pluck add "allow suckless.org"
This post has a way to see what connections are being made and denied when using the terminal. It may help figure out what is going on.
If you install only Pluckeye from the Chrome Web Store, you won't get settings; all images and video will simply be blocked. If you want to install the extension for firefox:
It sounds as if Pluckeye is not truly at level 2.
What version of Pluckeye are you using?
https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html
FYI: Windows Defender may say that sysinspect is Trojan:Win32/Fuery.C!cl .
> Level 2 is on and working right now. I am very hesitant to hit that "update" button because of the above. Is it safe to do so?
Sadly, I don't know. Nobody who has hit this error has submitted a sysinspect report while the computer was in the funny state.
The currently deployed version of Pluckeye installs fine for me on all the macOS I have tried. But that doesn't necessarily mean it will work for you.
I wonder whether you are an Administrator of the machine. That is, does Windows require you select a user and enter a password when you run the Pluckeye installer?
> no webpage will load on chrome or any browser
If I had to guess, I would guess that you are encountering known issue #1: Pluckeye is not compatible with some other software (e.g., Qustodio).
If you want more help, read, run, and send as described on https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html .
With a traditional computer (Mac, Windows, Linux), Pluckeye stores your settings on your device, but it also wants to store it on a Pluckeye-controlled server to help you sync the settings with other devices. This is called "registration." I think I read somewhere that registration is on by default now but can't specifically find that on the website. The command to opt out of registration is
pluck add "registration none"
Pluckeye for Android requires the use of a registration account. This was the only way to integrate protection into that operating system.
The short page on registration is (here)[https://www.pluckeye.net/how-to-register-for-accountability.html].
Pluckeye's (Privacy Policy)[https://u.pluckeye.net/doc/privacy] is also short, and relates primarily to the idea of "registration":
The Love Your Neighbor Privacy Policy
We will not sell data about you to others. And we think that idea is gross.
Feel free to create a new gmail account for use with this site if you want. We don't care.
If it would make you more comfortable if we had a long, legalese-filled privacy policy rather than this short and simple one, feel free to let us know.
If you want limited access to sites inside the browser use Pluckeye (https://www.pluckeye.net/android.html). If you want to limit your access your time for certain apps or even screen time in general use Lock Me Out, strongest of all app-blockers I've used for Android.
From https://forum.pluckeye.net/viewtopic.php?id=434
A patched version of Pluckeye can be downloaded from https://www.pluckeye.net/android.html .
Some add-ons may not function without setting xpinstall.signatures.required to false in about:config. That may be fixed in the future, but not this release.
You tried the Pluckeye's normal electron work-around?
>On Linux x86-64, support all electron-based apps via PLUCKEYE_AA67 variable. >PLUCKEYE_AA67=1 some-electron-app &
source (search for electron)
The release notes say that support for Brave was added in December for Linux. (Version 0.89.01) So maybe something broke.
I would recommend that you run the sysinspect utility and send the results it to Jon as a way to notify him of the problem and provide a starting point for what may be going on.
If you can do anything to start a fundraiser, it would be a helpful boost to Jon. He's been working on this project full-time while living off of savings hoping that subscriptions would catch up with his expenses, but they have not yet.
English isn't my native language, sorry if I am not explaining clearly, I'll try again
If I click to download https://www.pluckeye.net/downloads/sysinspect/sysinspect-windows.exe I have the option to choose where I want to save the file, I choose to save in Downloads (I tested with other folders too) and nothing happens. If I look at the download history in firefox it shows as failed to download
> ... every file ... any file, images, videos, text, ISO
So, you can't even download Pluckeye from https://www.pluckeye.net/try-it.html , or sysinspect from https://www.pluckeye.net/sysinspect.html ?
I upgraded to 57 a while ago, and the only issue I have had is this one from the known issues page:
In Firefox 57+, especially on slow machines, the Pluckeye panel may only show a "help" button. In most cases the full panel is shown a few seconds after Firefox starts.
Also, here is the official statement about pre-57 firefox: https://www.pluckeye.net/firefox-56.html
Basically you need to either go way back to version 47 (not recommended) or use Pale Moon.
Just to clarify, you told Pluckeye to whiteout npm?
pluck add "program npm whiteout"
Linux has a confirmed problem with electron based software. I don't know about Mac OS. You can search this pagee for "electron" if you haven't heard of this before.
I'm copying the last post here which has tips on expediting.
Here's how expedition is supposed to work.

Pluckeye works fine on Linux, and I'm currently testing it on Windows 7 and Mac. It's pretty granular, has some bells and whistles for programmer types, and even allows me to block sub-Rs, i.e. it can allow reddit.com/r/pornfree/ and block reddit.com/r/freeporn/ It can also apply that kind of filtering to unsavory queries, i.e. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=hot+fun+bikini or whatever.
Read all about it, and check out their "recipes" (.txt files that already contain thousands of filtered URLs.) https://www.pluckeye.net/
I use K9 on Windows and Mac, with the password locked up in the attic out in the garage. Qustodio on Android is fine. However, the problem with both of these is that allow NSFW URLs on otherwise great sites like Reddit and YouTube.
Just out of curiosity, is this a computer that was upgraded to Win 10 or did it come from the factory with Win 10? I have only encountered this error on older versions of Windows.
Way back in the day, Jon included the redistributables with the Pluckeye installer. He took it out at the end of 2017. So try installing version 0.60 from here first, to give you the prerequisites, and then upgrade to the newest version.
SOLVED. I dragged the text file unedited to my username folder and did this again but with the new file location, don't know why but it worked!
Ah, you must be using the command-line method of changing your delay.
The -e
option doesn't work on Mac OS X. Could you please try the newly-updated instructions which /u/plujon has now posted on the website?
A) Do the newly-updated instructions successfully change the delay?
B) If not, what output do you get?
