The night before my parents and I came home from our little trip to Montreal, my sister called us and said she’d thrown a wild party at our house while we were away, and they’d been busted by the cops. Fortunately for her, both the local police and our parents are pretty laid-back, so she didn’t get in any serious trouble.
I haven’t had much luck in finding an internship so far. Aside from a boring online summer course, it looks like I won’t be doing much of anything for the rest of the summer.
I stayed up late last night watching the election results in the UK. I don’t actually live there, but elections are still exciting to watch. Besides, there won’t be any major elections in my country any time soon.
Lately, I’ve started playing a game called Red Eclipse. The graphics are a bit dated, but it’s surprisingly addictive—and most importantly, it’s one of the few first-person shooters I’ve found that work on Linux.
I used to play a lot of Civ when I was a kid.
I have an old copy of Halo, and recently, I've gotten hooked on an FPS called Red Eclipse.
I also enjoy FTL, although I haven't played it in a while.

This conversation made me wonder if anybody still played Sauerbraten, and apparentlya Cube2-engine-based game has been in development since 2011 called Red Eclipse. Who knew!
