Tagpacker is a platform like delicious or pinboard that aims to solve exactly your problem, namely organizing a large collection of links with tags BUT in a more structured way. It allows you to organize your tags into tag packs in a very simple but effective way. Each tag pack can cover one aspect of your link, e.g. what kind of link it is (video, article, product...), what it is about (i.e. the topic), which year the link was published, whether it's in your todo list or not..., you name it. You can even create new tag packs for particular topics, for example you can organize the companies by size or city.
See this example interesting talks organized by year, topic (my interests) and people (only some).
You can import your pinboard links if you like to give it a try.
You should try Tagpacker. It is made for organizing and sharing large collections of links/bookmarks with tags. If you already feel the pain of the limitations of nested folders in your browser bookmarks, Tagpacker might be the tool for you. It is based on tagging, so it frees you from these limitations. Don't expect confusing tag clouds. Your tags can be organized into so-called tag packs. You can for example have packs for projects, materials, kinds of buildings, architects etc. so your collection remains neatly structured.
For an example, check out this list of talks that I organized with regard to my interests and the year the talk was recorded.
You might want to try Tagpacker. It is great for sharing organized collections of links/bookmarks. It is based on tagging but avoids chaotic tag clouds and looks really nice. Check out this collection of golf videos.
