Both CNN and the NYT are talking about the same photo.

You seem to be implying that "okay" is the correct one and that "OK" only exists to be easier to write, implying that "O.K." defeats the purpose.

But "OK" is not a shortened versions of "okay". OK came first and dates from the first half of the 19th century. "okay" is a spelling of OK that came up in 1929.

So, if anything, "OK" or "O.K." are the correct versions, and "okay" a corruption of it. Or more sensibly, all three versions are O.K. ;)

It basically isn't.

This is silly. Everyone is different, as a sum of their parts, but no individual is completely different from everyone else. Encyclopedia Britannica states that to be a minority there must be "significant distinguishing characteristics". And unless we are talking about those incredibly rare individuals who have some characteristic unique to only them (a 1 in 6 billion mutation, say), then everyone is the same as others on most levels.
Sorry, it's a hard point to elucidate, but I disagree with the idea here.

If you want to monitor Reddit specifically, try my tool. It's called F5Bot and it's completely free. https://f5bot.com/ Reddit is good at having the latest news on lots of subjects, so this might work well for what you're trying to achieve. You could also limit it to specific relevant subreddits.

Google alerts used to work really well for monitoring the web. It works much less well now than it did a few years back. It doesn't really work at all on Reddit. https://google.com/alerts

I'm so sorry for the late reply, I had replies turned off. I was putting this image on a "Dakboard" https://dakboard.com/site , which is like a bulletin board shown on a computer monitor. The OP put this on twitter and I could not get the Image URL for my Dakboard.

I feel pretty stupid, but can anyone explain how to get around this? I got myself set up with IPVanish thanks to Lifehacker and other sources saying you just need to get a VPN, but it isn't changing anything. I've flushed DNS, cleared cache and cookies and my IP address shows that I'm in Los Angeles but still I get this exact same page when I try to go to ThePirateBay. Seems like I'm missing something here.

EDIT: After a while I googled the pirate bay and clicked the link instead of typing into the address bar and now it's working, even when I go direct via the address bar... Dunno what happened but my VPN works, so I'm happy.
