You are mistaken, WO mic is supported ! https://wolicheng.com/womic/wo_mic_linux.html Edit: I do understand that their website is poorly designed, this link is quite hidden if you don't know where to look. Let's hope the owner remakes it someday!
that link has multiple solutions, I wonder which one you are using.
There is this "official" support. I am going to try it myself later, out of interest
Check out WO Mic. It allows you to use your phone (or tablet) as a microphone on your PC. I've had a decent experience using it for several months.

A solution like this exists for Windows, but not ChromeOS unfortunately. The trouble is you need to create a virtual microphone device that the browser can detect and give to Zoom.
Cheapest thing is probably to go to monoprice and get a bluetooth headset with microphone. Best quality would be a UHF wireless headset mic.
If your just starting then use whatever you have. If you have a smartphone then you could use Wo Mic to start off . You don't need to spend any money to start off. You spend money when you start getting a audience.
Here is the Wo Mic site if you want to try it out:
i mean you could but via bluetooth you'll need a dongle to do that then there's an app that you need to download to do that but if your trying to turn it into a mic this might help https://wolicheng.com/womic/ but only works for android it on and to get developer mode click build number a 5 times i think it will be in your about section on your device once you do that go to the developer settings and scroll down till you see a usb debugging enable it download the WO Mic app not sure how you would do it on a iphone but that might help
Thats a good question, not screwed but a mic is required for this game. At a bare min you need to be able to say yes, no, copy, and be able to give call outs in local.
A cheaper usb mic runs for $20-$40 and that's all you honestly need. If you are like me and dont have $20 lying around use WO MIC, it's an awesome free app(it has ads tho) that let's you use your phone as a mic through a usb, wifi, or bluetooth connection to your PC. It's not the best quality mic but it does work and can hold you off before buying a real usb or desk mic.
I cant stress how important it is to have a crappy mic vs no mic. It takes 10 mins to setup and it will make a huge difference for yourself and your teammates, good luck!
