Torguard, Tunnelbear, HideIPVPN. If you only want USA, buy HideIPVPN; if you want all around the world, buy Torguard; if you want better apps and usability with small number of countries, buy Tunnelbear.
Used tens of VPNs for years for review purposes (from Europe), this three are the ones I liked best.
I've been using HideIPVPN for a decade now. Never had any trouble with them, generally very fast. I haven't shopped around though, so can't put hand on heart and say they're any better or worse than the competition.
I tried deleting it, it just pointed to the next comment line. I deleted all the comments, then it said something about a file directory. I tried deleting the place with the error and trying that, and I got through but couldn't connect to google music. Then I tried the other checkbox which only applies what I have selected, and I only selected the two lines I added. Still couldn't get into google music.
tl;dr: I've tried everything.
BUT IT'S GOOD NOW. I used a program called HideIPVPN to pretend I'm in the US, and I got in. This program gives a 3-hour free trial, which is all I need as I only need to use it once! Everything is good and I'm excited to work out with my songs from my computer. Thanks for recommending this to me, I'll see how it is!
HideIPVPN is very good, $5/month for four US IP addresses, unlimited data, and is easily configured on any PC, Mac or iDevice. I use it for Netflix, Pandora and Hulu, and it works brilliantly, best thing over other VPN providers I tried out is that multiple devices can be accessing VPN simultaneously without a hitch. I tried the free varieties but Hulu is good at sniffing them out

HideIPVPN is what I use. I did extensive research and testing on a bunch of different VPN services.
Only problem I have with HideIPVPN is that they keep some limited logs for 3 days. Unless you have been doing some seriously illegal shit, 3 days is nowhere near enough time for someone to subpoena it.
Correct. I've used OpenVPN with Linux with HideIPVPN and it worked great. Not that I will recommend HideIPVPN tho, as not only it's hard to get an account since they hold a lottery system for signing up, they're apparently known and throttled by a lot of ISPs worldwide (my maximum speed on them is 2mbps). I've ditched them for TunnelBear.
Hulu tends to block VPNs, but SmartDNS should work. Here in Taiwan I’ve used HideIPVPN, SmartDNSProxy, and Getflix. All of them worked great with Hulu, both via SmartDNS service (all of them) and via VPN to one of their SmartDNS enabled servers (the first two, as I’ve never tried the Getflix VPN).
I have had some reliability issues with SmartDNSProxy’s SmartDNS, but not with their VPN.

In every case a VPN will slow down your connection. Mainly because of the distance between your location and the VPN server you're connected to. So better choose a VPN with a lot of Servers in many locations like Nord VPN for example. Another big reason for speed loss is the VPN port/protocol. Indeed, your VPN software connects you to their servers on a specific port number using a specific protocol (UDP or TCP). Some networks restrict the speed of certain ports or protocols. Maybe you could try changing the port/protocol until you identify the fastest combination.
Finally, maybe that your current VPN isn't the best option. So, the fastest VPNs on the market according to different reviews and test score are TunnelBear VPN, ** VPN and HideIPVPN**
The problem is definitely VPN/DNS based and not because you're using a Canadian registered PlayStation account?
If thats not it try HideIPVPN. They just waved the surrender flag on Netflix, so they'll be looking for something else to promote. They've also unlocked every service I've ever asked them.
Edit: typo

Wat betreft de activiteiten, het is een beetje een gesloten wereldje. Je komt er niet zomaar binnen.
Mods if this is against the rules delete my comment and I won't post anything similar again.
If you're looking for a cheap, fast and realiable VPN that keeps no logs and is easy to use (they have their own client but you can also use PPTP or the standard OpenVPN client) I can recommend HideIPVPN. Don't trust "VPN review sites" you find by googling I've learned the hard way those mostly consist of paid fake reviews and you end up overpaying for shit.
No, at least not in Canada. You can get a DNS host who can do that for you though, I use a company called HideIPVPN and get DNS servers for UK and USA, and VPN for a bunch of countries. It's $10 a month, but there are so many out there that do this. Works for Netflix and Hulu Plus but not for Comedy Network. There may be a free option out there, not sure.
Yeah, just buy ILP with a VPN. I used "HideIPVPN" which is 5.99/month for their UK VPN service. Then ILP from the UK is $69 (using my US Visa).
Cheaper than two months of cable, so it's worth it to me.
You just need to trick Netflix into thinking you have a US IP.
1) VPN - more secure than proxies. There are some services out there like StrongVPN and HideIPVPN. I've never used these services so I cannot speak for their quality. Wouldn't recommend using your company's traffic for Netflix!
2) Proxy - not as stable or secure, but there are plenty of free US proxies out there ()
If you've got family in the states, you could also set up a VPN connection to their home connection. This would be just like you're doing to your work connection, but you'd be using your families connection
I use HideIPVPN on my computer and it allows me to watch US netflix for the cost of a sandwich a month. Worth it for 30 Rock alone.
Also means I can watch Hulu, if that's of interest.
