Yep. Adobe has a app called Fill & Sign for signing PDFs. It has been removed from the phone itself and no one knows why.
And you can just install Word and Excel, should be pre-installed.
Word doesn't fully support the S Pen (I think), so you can just use Samsung Note and export the finished document as a docx/PDF.
As for using Dex, unless you're only using it for YouTube, Netflix and stuff I'd really buy any kind of mouse and keyboard combo. You can just buy a USB-C hub on Amazon, no need to give Samsung even more money .
And when you get your phone you should install Samsungs Good Lock. It's a collection of apps that really improve your UX and also add more customization and general features.
There is a pre-installed screen protector on the phone, unlike with the iPhone it's not simple shipping plastic. You have to see if you like the feeling of course but I'd suggest you just keep it on the phone. It isn't avaliable anywhere if you peel it off.
The biggest pet peeves of recent Samsung phones is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and Bixby. The sensor is just a matter of getting used to it and it's pretty fast. Bixby is pretty useless compared to Google Assistant but that depends on if you're using assistants like this at all.
I'd suggest you immediately change the power button behavior to be a real power-button because of of the box it activates Bixby on a long-press. You can also set it to quick-launch the camera with a double-press but I'll free it up to you.
If you're gonna use android apps, why not Adobe Fill & Sign ? I'm trying to understand how this app (other than being an android app) differes from say Squid in this functionality.
Minor editing but I need the ability to sign pdf's constantly. I just found this from Adobe in the Play store. Has anyone tried it on a Chromebook yet?
I use Adobe Fill & Sign. It works well enough for me.
Adobe Fill & Sign DC (Play store link)
Adobe Fill & Sign (Play store) is really good at what you want it to do.
