Right now it is my phone but I am planning on ordering a 5" or 7" hdmi display to have at that spot. For clock/weather/notifications. The app I use is this
Gunna try this for android. Looks like it does it all. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apalon.myclockfree
Just a single app, stock old nexus 7 2012

But, there are a couple of decent ones to try that you didn't mention.

And, of course, the king of clock widgets

There's others out there to be sure, but if you check each of those out you'll probably get your needs met. If not, I find that instead of just searching for "clock" or "alarm", that using the similar app or others installed from an app that's close to what I want, I find something exactly fitting my needs much quicker
This should do it!
Funny thing, whether its due to me being scared of the price of that thing or not, I got up like a charm today by using this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apalon.myclockfree
