Hmm, not sure what black magic the dev uses, but Alarm Droid ignores sound settings on any phone I put it on, it rings audibly even if everything is set to silent...also has a talking clock and audible weather report function that is hella handy.

Also I'm liking my A52 so far (samsung won't get flagship dollars out of me unless they put back the 3.5mm port...so probably never again after my S9 died)
And yes, I know this is an old post, but maybe you'll still find the info useful!
If you struggle to wake up in the morning (like me), you might be intetested in an on-phone alarm clock that you have to solve a puzzle or math equation to shut off?
I use AlarmDroid (which also verbally announces the weather forecast and current time/day) and its rarely failed me 馃槄https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.splunchy.android.alarmclock&hl=en_CA&gl=US
Of course it won't help prevent your partner from waking, especially if you're a bit muzzy in the morning like me and take multiple tries to silence the damn thing...馃ぃ
AlarmDroid has a variety of obstacles to choose from:
I used AlarmDroid for a while back in the good old days of Android 4, very feature-filled, from what I remember it doesnt have the best looking UI but it sure gets the job done, I could be wrong either way its definitely worth a try
I use this. Not only does it have math problems that you're forced to solve to turn off the alarm, but there's another option where you're given six different numbers that your forced to put in order. If you get one of the numbers wrong, it starts over. It sounds pretty dumb right now, but at least to me this is what really forces me to wake up. Hope this helps!
I have used AlarmDroid for the longest time. It allows you to punch in text, including variables for time, date weather etc. which will then be read to you. I have used this to make my phone insult me to get my lazy ass out of bed in the morning, haha. I don't have it installed anymore, so I can't check if it does feeds (I only know it does radio streams), but custom text definitley works.

I use AlarmDroid and have it set to start low and ramp up volume over 10 minutes. This saves me from a jolt of a loud alarm and surprisingly after a month of using this, I have started waking up slightly before or shortly after the alarm starts.
This might not have been what you are after, but my solution is to use a third party app.
I have too many important daily agenda items to miss, and I'm terrible for turning down my master volume when I'm half asleep.
TL;DR Try out a third party alarm app.
For anyone looking for a real solution, this hasn't failed me in the last 5 years - lets you set up puzzles before you can deactivate your alarm. Can also disable the snooze function. Forces you awake until you get good at multiplication and division and can do it half awake. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.splunchy.android.alarmclock&hl=en
I like AlarmDroid
It can do just about anything.
Also https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.splunchy.android.alarmclock but hasn't been updated in a while.
While using Android, I was heavily using AlarmDroid: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.splunchy.android.alarmclock&hl=en
I haven鈥檛 found similar app for iOS...
Here are some alternatives but all of them seem to need allot of permissios * AlarmDroid * AMdroid * Sleep
Alarm Droid seems to have the least permission. I personally use Google Clock.
