There is an app that you can use for that: Alt-C. You simply select the link on the pc, press Alt-C (or any other combo that you want) and it copys and opens the link in your phone. You can also use it the other way, by pasting from the phone to the pc by pressing Alt-V.
It's a very simple app, but very useful
Just use the Alt-C app to copy the url from your computer to mobile and you can even set it to auto open the browser once you copy https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=za.co.canobakedbeans.instacopy
Then set your phone to auto upload the screenshots to Google photos then submit from your desktop I was doing the hits in about 3:30 and did all of them yesterday
I had a really great app a few years ago, called Alt-C. When you hit alt-c on your computer it would copy the text to the phone's clipboard, and alt-v would bring your most recent copied item from your phone to your computer. It seems to have lost some support in recent years, and I found an alternate way to copy things over (Telegram saved messages) that didn't require a bit of back and forth setup after changing devices, and could work across any device. It seems like such a basic implementation that I wondered why it wasn't standard.
I tend to use Google Keep mostly as it's a link on my windows taskbar but have also used Alt-C on the Mac (also supports Windows) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=za.co.canobakedbeans.instacopy
This app has saved me a lot of grief. It is pretty bare bones but works well. Basically, it's a clipboard that transfers the copied data from device to device. It allows me to copy my m3u credentials from the gmail on my win10 laptop and paste it onto the clipboard on another device on my network. It works on my Shield and my CCwGTV and my Android tablet. No version yet for my Firestick (but it puked last week and I won't be replacing it.)

I used to have an app installed that had clipboard sync through shortcut keys. Press alt-c on the computer, sends it to the phone clipboard. Copy something on the phone, press alt-v to paste it on the computer. It was really great, but hasn't been updated in over 3 years, so it doesn't quite work as well anymore.
This was the app. If they update it again, I'll reinstall.
A little late for the Saturday thread, but found this app very useful - Alt-C So basically it is a universal copy paste for PC and android devices. It is one of the best implementations since it uses Google Cloud Messaging for copying/pasting so won't hog the battery at all. It uses Windows HotKey API. So when you press Alt+V on PC, it retrieves your clipboard text from Android device and similarly send to android device with Alt+C. You can also change the hotkey.
Here's some apps I recommend!
First of all there's the Good Lock/NiceLock modules that are a definite must-have. In particular, these are great:
Other than that, going through my apps alphabetically, here's some fairly universally useful apps I could find:
Alt-C has an automatic link opening option when copied on PC.
You should add Alt-C to the list

It's an app. Pretty basic but it works well enough
Use Alt-C for syncing clipboard items between desktop and phone.
>Alt-C: Copy text to/from Android/windows/mac.
Thank you for introducing me to this.
check out Alt-C for universal copy/paste substitute
I currently use Alt-C, instead of chrome or firefox it installs an application on your PC.
