Run smoke weed listen to my newest mix https://www.mixcloud.com/Tom_O/traumatic-rebirth-through-sound/ turn down all lights turn on white noise from an app I downloaded Just found this great app! Find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.mm.android.ambience
And just focus on beats Technoskanking and cloud smoke. Ill reach a Zen point and then i turn music down to where I can barely hear it with the white noise app, turn off lights. Crawl in the rack and I'm out. Its a routine but I find for myself personally, routine helps your mind slow down.

Da die App mit meinem PlayPass kostenfrei war, habe ich sie mal ausprobiert. Ist ganz nett, da man unterschiedliche Geräusche mischen kann, z.b. Regen + Gewitter + einzelne Wassertropfen.
Gibt aber noch einige mehr.
Question. What are you currently using for an ambient sound app? I'm always keeping my eyes open for apps.
I use one called "Ambience" (snappy name) while going down to sleep. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.mm.android.ambience
The following items on your shopping list;
Avoid caffeine on lates/nights in the last few hours of your shift many say that really helps them.
Try different ways to cope with it. After nights some people like to get 3 or 4 hours as soon as they get in, others carry on for hours and have a few hours kip between lunch and dinner time. Try a mix of different ways to deal with the shifts over a number of different weeks and see what works out for you.
Don't forget to consider winding down time, find something to do to switch off, I typically enjoy going on gaming for an hour when I get home then an audio book as I help it lets me forget about work and focus on home. Other people I know like to do housework, others get a cold drink and watch the news. As I already said, try it all out and work out what works for you and your lifestyle. Just because Kevin does it this way in the office doesn't mean it works for you because Kevin has to do the school run and put up with a crying baby all afternoon while the wife works, when you might live alone and get peace and tranquillity all day long.
If you have the luxury of a spare bedroom on the opposite side of the house to your own one that you can make use of, try to keep it ready to sleep in as an alternative to get comfortable. Also an option that works is a comfortable blanket and your sofa which I have to admit I've done far to many times. Especially in summer when the heat rises through the house and the bedroom becomes unboreable.
Should you have a smart speaker set up at home, consider getting a smart plug for about £10 and a fan set up off of it. I love being able to scream at mine "turn on the bedroom fan" from ben as I'm just trying to get cool enough to actually fall asleep. I actually went one better last year and spend £250 on a smart air conditioning unit and it's expensive to run by my does it make sleeping so much easier.
My final point is around nights, I personally prefer to get my sleep out of the way as soon as I can, because neighbours will often not consider that you are sleeping as they decide to do their knocking down of the party wall just as you doze off. I prefer to get my sleep in as soon as I can as it means if someone's causing noise, I can always give up trying to sleep, go do something else and try again later when they've given up being noisy sods, so at least that I feel refreshed but achieve something. If you're one of these people who goes to sleep after you've got everything done and they then start being a pain later in the day when you just want to get to sleep, you can bet this will be the day when you are going to struggle to get to sleep.
The one I use, called Ambience, includes washing machine, hair dryer, gas stove, refrigerator, and vacuum!
Make a one off payment for a sounds app, there are possibly free options but the ones going ad-free are in the ones I've tried pretty good and offer some handy features
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.mm.android.ambience&hl=en_GB&gl=US - personally paid for this and find it quite good.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/your-ambience/id967898191 - no idea about it but needed to show an iOS equivalent.
There are loads of options out there.
Not want to pay? Install google opinion rewards and save up the credit, most people will have a good amount in under a month. I earn plenty out of it a year to pay for my app purchases.
