Incredibly ugly and clunky, but by far the best feature set:

Stupid name, awful looking icon and clunky, ugly and bare-bones UI.

But it's so incredibly useful and works so well. It monitors the Play Store, Steam, GOG, Origin, Amazon and many more stores for discounts on games, apps and software. One can set filters and import wishlists, there are extensive price histories and no other app offers even close to that kind of data. AppSales looks 100 times better but offers far worse data.

If that ugly duckling would ever get a new coat, it would be an absolute killer app for digital distribution deal hunters. It already is, but I can see why it is so easily dismissed.

I mainly use the app "Best App Sale", also available on the Google Play Store, Link!.

It isn't specifically for boardgames, but you can wishlist certain games and you'll be notified when they're on sale.
