Just give us the possibility to bind our own keys.
Wow, that's legendary.
And the fact that he discovered he can have more effective movement by having four fingers on four keys, instead of three on four, as is with WASD. With cramps, though, lol https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
If you will be reloading levels, you will also need to use singletons.
Check out this video (about music playing between scenes):

UPDATE - OK guys, as some of your perceptive minds have noticed, this is already a perfectly good minus sign so i decided not to take my chances and take what I already have.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
My idea also involves having different shapes as the player object, for example an object which is like a U or an O (with sharp edges).
I don't see that in Bloxorz, the player object is always an elongated cube. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
As for jumping, I really didn't think jumping was at all necessary in this game since there are no obstacles to jump over.
And as for tapping on the right side to shoot, I did try to implement this initially, but didn't like how you had to stop moving your head to tap to shoot and it wasn't fluid enough for fast moving enemies like these so i decided to have auto-fire like in Dead Trigger for example.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
I would implement the controls used in Hungry Shark. Here's a video, I tried to find a video where you can see the hands (skip to around 2:00): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UM13h_dAHHk
So notice how there are no buttons for movement, but when you tap and slide, it creates a reference point and moves based on the offset from that initial tap position.
But the important thing here is when he releases, the controls once again disappear and then you can tap anywhere on the screen and the controls will be created on that new position.
Though this guy taps right on the middle of the screen covering the shark (what you don't want) and slides a huge amount, what I'm trying to say is you could tap on the right bottom part of the screen for example if that's what's convenient to the player and I believe the amount of the offset doesn't affect the speed of the shark, although this guy instinctively does so.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
I took a look and in EDGE the object is always a cube, but it's about interesting levels and the fact that the cube can climb on walls so it's a little bit different. Great game though and I like how sometimes you need to balance the cube on its edge until a certain platform gets closer. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
Also pay extra attention to the sky - you will notice that there are no meteors falling from the sky! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
This is exactly the kind of games I like: puzzles + physics + being creative drawing your own shapes.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpitSlide.ThisIstheEnd
