Here's a guide on changing your MAC Address for Windows 10, Linux, and Mac
If you want to change your MAC Address on Android, you need root, and this app. There's a setting you can check to automatically change it when you connect to a WiFi network.
I'd use a VPN, but I'd strongly suggest against torrenting on your school's WiFi unless you're on Android and using Change My MAC to stop the school blocking your device entirely.

Needs root though. Worked perfectly fine for my nexus 5, moto x play and tab pro. It however reboots when using on Redmi note 4
If your phone has root, you can always use an app like this.

Whrite your chromecast's MAC on the phone and then log in, so when you reconnect with the chromecast it will be connected

I've changed my MAC multiple times. There's a WiFi MAC and Mobile Data MAC. Some custom ROMs has the functionality built in to randomize your mac. Also, if you're rooted, you can use apps like Change My Mac https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.xnano.android.changemymac&hl=en&gl=US or Wifi Mac Changer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wireless.macchanger&hl=en&gl=US
I'm not sure if you want to change it automatically, but I've always used Change My MAC - Spoof Wifi MAC, and it's worked perfectly, but I don't believe it allows you to change your MAC automatically.
If you do want that, you could use Chainfire's Pry-Fi. I haven't used it in a few years, so YMMV. Chainfire himself is also not my go-to developer after he sold out SuperSU, but the app itself is still useful.
A software solution for Android could be:
An app could help you achieve this, if it exists. I haven't looked.
Edit: I found something. I haven't tried it, and I'm in no way recommending it. I'm just saying it exists. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.xnano.android.changemymac

What's wrong with this one:

I've had success with this one on my Samsung tablet. May or may not work for you. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.xnano.android.changemymac&hl=en_US&gl=US
I use this app, but I have a significantly older phone (running Android 7) so maybe it wouldn't work for you? Idk.
Change My MAC works pretty well for me. Root is required.

Is it this one?

All solutions require root or Xposed. If you end up rooting, this is a good option.
Already tried this?. It requires root, obviously
