Galaxy Watch doesn't have one of the key apps that I need. Can you point me to an app like Class Time - Timetable that allows me to have a watch face that counts down my schedule?
Something that looks and acts similar to this which has multiday weekly schedules is what I need. I still haven't seen anything like that for Tizen.
> I'm just curious what apps people use on their watches? The only one I used on my Moto 360 v2 was Sleep As Android, which is also available on the gear app store.
It doesn't really matter which they use. The key thing is that if there's one app that you really use all the time, and it's not available. I used to be a windows phone user, and the fandom would often claim that windows phone had all the major apps as a way of dismissing the difference in the number of apps. They were right that all the major apps were there. They were wrong that it didn't matter.
There could be 90% congruence between the two app stores, but if someone needs a particular app, they're going to go with the OS that has it. That key app will be different for each person, but it'll be vital.
For an example, there's an app on Android/WearOS called ClassTime - Timetable. It allows you to enter a complex daily schedule and will allow you to keep track of what "class" you should be in and how much time you have until the next "class." I say "class" in quotes because you can really use it for breaking up any complex schedule. It syncs with WearOS devices and gives you a neat watch face that counts down to the end of each class.
Tizen could shit rainbows, but until it has a comparable app, I'm never going to buy a Samsung watch. I use that app as my main watch face. It helps me keep track of where I'm supposed to be. Other people will have other apps that are important to them.
Class time. I use it a lot in school, so I have to say it is very useful. The watchface is the best part about it, having to know roughly how many percent of a certain class has passed.
EDIT: It is my watchface, so you could say it's something I cant live with..
If I may suggest, this looks very nice.
I currently use classtime for this, and would gladly switch over.
Will your app support Android Wear? That's the only feature I would need to switch over.
i use an app called class timer. only real downside for you is that you cant just set a 15 minute tihng on a whim. you have to plan it out.
The main one I use is the ClassTime app and watch face. Then, there's Pocket Casts and Audio Recorder
Class Time is what I use. Great app not only for students, it synchronizes with your Google Calendar, synchronizes also with android wear! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.nohus.classtime&hl=en
Here are a few of the ones I like:
If you're a student, ClassTime gives you a glance of how far through a class you are on your watch face and helps you navigate your schedule. The watch face is very customizable.
Calculator by Xlythe is, well, a calculator with Android Wear support! It is just as clean and simple as Google's, but can do more functions. Plus, it has a history panel, and the phone app can graph functions.
Sleep as Android uses your watch to track your sleep, and then figures out a good time to wake you up when you're not in an REM cycle. It wakes you up with a light buzzing on your watch. It is very customizable, and has support for all kinds of things like CAPTCHAs and sleep statistics.
ustwo Watch Faces is a just package of a bunch of cool watch faces.
Timerro is an interval timing application, great for workouts or pomodoro timers.
This is partially a repost of one of my comments from another thread.

If all you need is a simple pomodoro timer, Pomotodo is about as simple as it gets.
Here's the link to the app he mentioned. It has a widget as well as Android wear support.

It's a bit of a bitch to set up and get working right, but it's super handy when you do.
