Does anyone have a recommended cloud coverage forecast tool? I have been using the Clear Outside app and ClearDarkSky.com
The Clear Outside app is nice since it seems to be pretty up to date.
On Android, to determine how much cloud cover there will be I use Clear Outside No idea if it's available for Apple
It's aimed at astronomers but is very useful for predicting sunrises/sunsets. I generally look for around 50% cloud where I'll be and ideally with a gap in the clouds 70 or 80 KM away. East for sunrises, west for sunsets
Found what I was looking for in this video from Mark Denne: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLAuuYb0JDU
The app is called Clear Outside, and you can find it ...
here for iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/clear-outside/id921555752?mt=8
or here for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.firstlightoptics.clearoutside&hl=en_US

Si tu es sur Android il y a ça mais ça manque de mises à jour : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.firstlightoptics.clearoutside
I recently found ‘Clear Outside’ - an astronomers’ weather app.
Free, no ads, lots of details (cloud cover at three different heights, for example!) but not the prettiest thing you’ll ever see on your screen. I love it :) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.firstlightoptics.clearoutside
