I don't know if you guys would say its the closest game to SW, but has the same principles and I honestly think this is a good game! Been playing that game for around 5 months and its really fun! (even though, I moved back to SW recently)
I don't know if it's what you are looking for, but I've sunk quite a bit of time into Crusader's Quest. The subreddit is pretty helpful for it as well.
If you are interested in App games 'Crusaders Quest' is currently having a small collab event with RWBY atm. Not the best game but a good time waster, and one of the least predatory app games I've seen in awhile.
I've tried playing CQ (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nhnent.SKQUEST ) on my machine with default settings and didn't get any black screen. Settings are default with Opengl and 2 core 2 GB ram.
I played Crusaders Quest for a while, they gave us two options to login, Facebook, and Google account. But wasn't the option to use both login system in same account.
Earlier this year, I stopped playing Crusader's Quest. Excellent game, definitely got my money's worth.
I am looking for an online RPG with an interesting combat system. I have tried several games that I hear discussed, including Monster Super League. However, there are a lot of games where the combat gets old really fast.
I like making interesting decisions in combat. Strategic team building is a lot of fun, but I like games that have (at least some) challenging fights where I feel like something that I did impacted the fight. That is, my favorite games make me feel smart when I beat a tough fight.
I would give Crusaders Quest (CQ) a try if you are on android (iOS version is buggy). It does have an energy mechanic like this but you can refill it with the premium currency, which you are flooded with as a newer player. CQ's F2P model is very very good. Paying money does not get you much in the long run, and the developers are very generous with hand outs.
I asked the same thing a few months ago on /vg/ and the consensus was Crusaders Quest. I guess they were right, because I'm addicted.

Crusaders Quest is one game that I would highly recommend, it's free as well, but requires an internet connection.
The battle system is pretty different and the game just flows nicely, the story is great and although there's premium points for cash, they give you enough of it from normal quests, etc. that you don't really need to care much about it.

This game probably isn't optimized for your phone.
There is another maplestory mobile title available. I forget what it was called but it had a great opening theme song, but terrible gameplay. The platforming isn't very fun, even though I grew up with and enjoy platformers - including the official maplestory. There is an auto-play option, which will basically be your default option. While you can chat with other players, you have no reason to do so because you can't auto-play and chat at the same time. Plus the game is played in landscape and typing in landscape is beyond horrible.
Platforming games on mobile typically do not play very well. Requiring simultaneous input from both fingers, obscuring a large percentage of the screen from both the ui and your fingers, precision timing needed on a platform vulnerable to lag on an mmorpg which further increases the lag.
If I may make one suggestion, I would pitch Crusaders Quest. I played this game a few years ago so my comments are very likely out of date. It's an rpg, endless-runner, puzzle-like, gacha game that feels like a platformer. Don't let endless-runner and puzzle-like discourage you because it's like 80% rpg, 18% gacha, 1% endless-runner, 1% puzzle-like.
The endless-runner aspect gives it that platforming feel, but instead of timing jumps, it's timing attacks. Your attack range varies from character to character, but it spans from huge to extremely huge. Thus, there's little worry about missing an attack. Your attack interface is through a small skill bar on the bottom of the screen, obscuring a minimal percentage of the screen. Your fingers will never conceal the play area as 95% of the controls you need are on that skill bar. You only need one thumb to play, but you can use two for speed/comfort. The puzzle aspect stems from that skill bar as it is actually a queue and skills are "drawn" from a deck. Using a skill removes it from the queue. If identical skills are next to each other in your queue, using it removes all of them from the queue for a stronger attack. It's easy to pick up once you try it once and different characters/skills will want to be used in different ways.
There is also chat, pvp, and all those other good things without the excess fat that drags down other mmorpgs. But it is also a gacha game, so grinding, rng, and lootboxes are abundant.

Never have heard of this game till now, but I recognize this style of gameplay, in fact I played a game like that not a while a ago called Crusaders Quest, I don't now the specific name for this type of gameplay but they're kinda fun.
If you like the collection mechanic, I would suggest Crusaders Quest
