I absolutely loved Fran Bow from Killmonday Games. It's a port from PC and has been broken down into 5 separate apps. You play as Fran Bow, a little girl with mental health problems, as she tries to escape a mental institution and figure out how to get back home to her beloved aunt. To solve puzzles, Fran needs to take her medicine which completely changes her perception of the world around her.
I really enjoyed the creepy aesthetic, but it's not for everyone. Here's the trailer; if you're not okay with animated depictions of blood, dismemberment, and exploding body parts then you definitely want to avoid this game.

Fran Bow is, in my opinion, unmatched storywise. Then i'd also recommend the following titles for their stories/meaning:
