What is Reddit's opinion of Geek - Smarter Shopping?

Seems to be made by the same people who make Wish. I certainly would not trust it with root access. Honestly I suggest against their services in general.

Try Geek, it's owned by Wish but I've found stuff to be generally a little cheaper (although it's so cheap anyway it's not a huge difference). I've bought a few things through there and generally got my orders, when I haven't they've been quick to refund

In this case, we suspect it was caused by "Geek - Smarter Shopping" that my wife installed a few days ago. Possibly it waited a few days before it started doing this so it wasn't obvious?

Why the ads link to Facebook, I'm not sure - maybe there's an SDK that lets apps show FB ads and the app author gets paid by FB?

I got it through the Geek shopping app on my phone. Stuff comes and goes all the time.

I looked through the comments of the OP and searched for it on Geek witch is owned by Wish. I could not find it.
