Currently Healthifyme has largest available collection of Indian food data base . But it's UI sucks. You can see indian food database there. People are forced to use it, because it contain most Indian food database. No other app comes close to interms of database. There are other like popular MyFitnesspal but Indian food database is low.
You can make post on r/india asking for food database. It very active community. People would be glad to help you regarding food database.
Also, add option where I (users) can create food name and enter amount of calories. So if particular indian food item isn't present in your app database, I will simply add that food into database by manually typing.
Say Rice is not present in your app.
I (users) will manually create 'rice' and add into your database
1 bowl rice = 60 calories
Like this. This option is already available in Healthifyme. But Healthifyme doesn't let users set their own calorie goal. They decide automatically by calculating from your age and gender which you enter while signing into app.
thanks! i use an app called HealthifyMe. It's great. The number of times I have searched for some obscure food in there, and actually found it in the app is incredible.
I might post this in /r/loseit

MyFitnessPal has a very wide audience -- mostly western userbase but quite world-wide with a very large database of foods. I would make sure that you experiment with that one.
Try HealthifyMe
HealthifyMe is the only app with Indian food.

The above is a comprehensive view of what nutrients are known to affect hair loss.
It is probably not because of the low calories but because some nutrients are missing.
If you want to check, log all you eat in this app - HealthifyMe IPhone HealthifyMe Android and look whether it shows the lack of any nutrients.
This thread actually discusses various supplements for hair loss Hair Loss and Diet Discussion
Most people use Biotin supplement but I would consider visiting a doctor if things get bad.
If you want , you can try to eat maintenance calories for your body (1550 cals) or reduce the deficit you are in (1400 cals). See how that works.
Hope this helps.
Put your diet in this app or the other ones like it and it'll tell you the protein, carb and fat content.
