Well, the issue with cracked screen is that the screen itself is composed of 3 layers: display, digitizer and corning glass.
Usually we crack the glass and phone is working normal for a period of time
If you have display artifacts or blackness that means you cracked the display and its a matter of time before it dies.
Back to period of time When glass is cracked tiny particles are shattered and go in between the crackes. Those particles might take a while but will get to a point that will press on the digitizer and cause unintentional clicks or even damage to it.
As this is a touch based device, you put presure on the glass everyday, plus if you add a semi drop on a soft bed for example that adds to the crack and so on.
To test this replace Gboard with any other keyboard and see if its doing the same thing
I recommend OpenBoard
You should be planning on display replacement if you keep having problems.
I've used these as replacement for my OnePlus. they work great.
I've been ignoring the upgrade for over a year, and nothing has happened.
You can't disable the notification, but I got rid of it by installing an app called Notic. Works great, and it also helped me get rid of loads of other unnecessary notifications too.
I use this app.
It has been pretty effective but have to use it regularly to keep the screen burn at bay once it's already formed.
The longer the cable the less effective it will be. I personally haven't found any replacement that works with warp charging speeds.
Get a regular power extension cord like this
I believe this is the icon pack. :)

Get a VPN (I use TunnelBear) to Germany, which usually is one of the first European countries receiving the update, and refresh "System Update". The installation option should appear (instead of the current "system is up to date"). Then disable your VPN and you can still install it as you would normally

This is the next best thing. I've used multiple and never had any issues other than the installation being a bit tricky
Apple, easy to use, please. I had to setup my son's ipad and there are a couple things your can't even do if you don't own another apple device. Also, no widgets? Lol, no drag and drop from pc, lol... wtf. This ipad isn't capable of anything. It's eye candy but that's it. Apple walled garden is just trash.
I love android and it's customization. I've had no issue with the op7t in 2 years and A11 is running fine. I'll change the battery in ~1 year as it's at 80% after 2 years but I still get 6-7 SOT. Updates are not that important as apple's update are slowing down your devices, so they make the device worse. At least, with android, it only goes worse for 2-3 years :)
The fluidity of apple is just long app animations. If you add animations with high priority, it looks like the device is responsive, but it's really just showing you stuff while it's loading. I don't mind waiting 1sec for an app to open instead of waiting 2 sec for the opening animation to finish...
What icons have different sizes on android? and you can change the icon if you want...
I have the same screen protector that I installed 2 years ago. MP-Mall tpu auto repair...
Personally using this for the last 6 months with zero issues. Full warp compatibility too.
The dock is Moonrise
And the others are RedLine: LineX
Ah yeah it looks that way. However I use this app called Buzzkill which will do all you need and much more. For example, Instagram vibrates 3 times instead of the default 2 for other apps and also if the message is from xxx or contains xxx you can have another custom vibration or sound via 'rules'. Easily worth checking out and purchasijg as the dev replies within an hour and adds features :)

I found the wallpaper on reddit in the amoled backgrounds subreddit. The icon pack is Monoic pack in the play store I'll leave a link below along with the link to the wallpaper.

It could be image persistence which is more common than burn-in. The app above can reverse it to a certain point by displaying noise patterns. You can try the premium version for 30 minutes and if it doesn't help you can refund the 1.5 $ it costs.
The live wallpaper is linked below. It's very customizable and fun to play with. Worth the 99¢. Wish it supported 90hz, but whatever.

I don't think there is a video about it.
You should take a look at the Community app. People talk about their experiences with each beta.
Download Oxygen Updater from the store as well. You basically get updates faster and you can even choose to receive beta versions of you like.

With this as the top wallpaper wallpape
You need substratum app and this theme app called Liv in playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=liv.substratum.theme
Once you install substratum then go download Liv. After that you can go into substratum and make your overlay selections. Follow the instructions and you should end up with what I have above. There are many theme apps for substratum that work on the 7pro.
Cheers.
It's called substratum and you first purchase that. If you are rooted you use magisk to allow root privelages (to apply overlays or "theme"). At that point open substratum and select your overlays (follow directions in the app perfectly and you would end up with what I have here (settings page in next post showing off the subs app).
If you aren't rooted you will need Andromeda companion provided you are on Oreo 8.X, also on playstore. There are a few ADB commands but it's super simple stuff and your result will also be system wide theming. All that said in f you run Pie or later you must be rooted to use substratum.
There are many apps themed and it will grow with more apps as it matures. This developer keep his apps updated so it's a solid buy.
Because of Google stopping 3rd party overlays you have to get root access to use the app at this point which is free. All explained in Andromeda app listing below with links to everything as well.
You can search XDA and Telegram for groups to get free overlays and Soo support if you need help.
I hope I was helpful to you.

I just went to the settings and turned on Navigation Gestures so that I have a full screen and no navigation bar. And then I just use Edge Gestures for all my navigating. Makes the experience so much better.
Swipe from the right edge to left to go back.
Swipe down on edge to open recent apps.
Swipe up on edge to drop notification bar.
Swipe from right to center, and then up or down to control volume.
Double tap edge to go home.
Navigation is so much nicer and works well with the edge display

It has a free trial to try the live wallpaper but will need to purchase the app to unlock and keep all premium features.
Hope this helps.
The wallpaper is just oneplus dark theme no wallpaper really. The thin red line around the edge of the screen is actually animated. My screenshots done show it well It's this app...
I have it set to Red Red Black and speed slow, but you can choose any combination or colours and speed (or static)

Thanks! KWGT is a widget app. You can use it to create your own clock, weather, music or really any kind of widget you want. You can also search the Play store for KWGT and you'll get a ton of pre-made ones you can use or edit. They all require the base app I linked in this post to work though. For this one I used an Odisea (linked in another post) plugin app with KWGT to make the clock/date/battery thing. I altered it slightly but it's basically pre-made.

Also welcome to Android! Apples great for some stuff, but for customizing and playing around there are a lot of great options for Android. Have fun messing around!
S10+ usually gets the nod for camera
But then the oneplus usually get he nod for clarity of screen. With the exception that the 7 pro is not nearly as bright as the S10+
"On the other hand, the Galaxy S10 Plus' display can get significantly brighter, hitting 625 nits on our light meter. The OnePlus 7 Pro mustered 363 nits."

I'm on the latest Oxygen os update on the international op7p.
Ok, I'm running a custom ROM called Havok OS. The launcher is Lawn chair Launcher
I'm not familiar with what is and isn't blocked in China, but have you tried a site like apkmirror? Here's the listing for the latest version of the Play Store app: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-store/google-play-store-15-2-38-release/ If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to say. Try a VPN?
This. Same thing happened to me, although I carefully used a safety pin instead of a broken toothpick. Metal isn't a great idea for digging around in there but it worked for me.
Then I bought a pack of these - no more debris problems!

now in here there should be an option "Edit Device Fingerprint"(naming not exact as I can't remember)
It should now list a bunch of phone manufacturers, then choose your phone's manufacturer(in this case OnePlus), then choose your phone model(in this case 6T), then it should ask to restart your phone.
After the restart it should work, if not, put GPay and also several Google Services like Google Play Services and Google Services Framework
Nova launcher with , Oxygen OS icon pack, Nova launcher dock, i chose this wallpaper last year, i can't find it, but it was from AMOLED PIX or AMOLED Wallpapers , no custom ROM
>However when my battery is over 60-70% the charge speed plummets to 35-40% an hour.
Yup, this is how batteries normally charge, once it gets around 60% it becomes harder for the ions to flow, so it starts trickle-charging to avoid damaging itself.
My guess is no matter what charger you use, speeds will stay roughly the same to what you got, since unless it's using Warp Charge/VOOC, our OP7Pro's will default to regular charging. 15W PD isnt the fastest but it's probably the best you'll get.
I recommend the app called 'Ampere' since it can give you realtime voltage monitoring on how many amps your device is pulling as it charges, useful to check out different cables/wires. Just remember that past 60% almost everything will start to massively slow down.
I just updated my Global OP7P last night using the Oxygen Updater app to download the beta, flashed it normally through the OOS firmware updater.
You do have to adjust settings in the app for advanced mode and for beta (full) updates before the update will show.
So far everything works great, feels a little snappier than 11.
I was mainly worried that I would have issues since the images are for the Indian version of the phone. (In case anyone else is having second thoughts of flashing the beta)
[Ringke] Oneplus 7 Pro Film [Set... https://www.amazon.jp/dp/B07Q477DQ4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I live in Japan so I use amazon.jp, Bought it in 2020, but I think its already discontinued (?) It comes in 2 sheets, and I actually just replaced it a couple weeks ago since the previous ones has gotten too much damage and turn a little bit yellowish (much like any TPU based phone case). The installation is easy, look up on Youtube tutorials and such.
I'm from UK so depending on where you are from it might not be available, but anyway it's the "Fasgear Warp Charge 30W Cable for OnePlus 7 Pro" on Amazon, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07ZKGPNCV/
I think generally as long as the cable says it supports Warp Charge it would work, otherwise that's massively false advertising
How is the battery holding up capacity wise? Any update with the diagnostics app? I would also be interested in what capacity you get from Accubattery (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.accubattery). Maybe you can give that a try.
This one has held up well and offers pretty solid protection. Openings and buttons fit/function well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TWP37WY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have this (I believe) and it's been good. There's a little discoloration but it's nothing major. I'm not sure if it will only work for the McLaren model

This website, which uses standardized testing with all screens producing equal Nits to avoid the human factor.
Rates the iPhone X max, which is the best performer from them, at 79 Hours.
Rates the Oneplus 7 Pro at 85 Hours at 90hz, 92 Hours at 60hz.
Rates the Pixel 3a XL at 98 Hours.
The difference might be that iPhone's have a far more aggressive background killing habit than Android, they also limit their background services capabilities far more than Android. Something which this test does not account for well. All in all I think all three of these phones can reach the end of the day pretty easily though.
This is due to the 90hz variable mode, as others have stated.
If you wanna force 90hz on the fly, then allow me to introduce a must have app for OnePlus devices. jOnePlus Tools. Mind you it requires some initial setup with a computer, but after that you unlock a lot of features, which can be changed on the fly.

Here you go..
I do recommend buying some B-7000 glue as the one that comes with the back plate wasn't great and it was letting dirt and pocket debris inside.
Have this case on mine. Been about 3 years, no dings or cracks.

I think it will as long as the cable supports some type of fast charging for whatever phone you'll use.
I bought a Rexin OnePlus 7 pro Warp Charger and it warp charges without an issue.
I also charge my OnePlus 5T with the Rexin USB-C cable and the official charging brick that came with the OnePlus 5T and fast charging is supported.
Batteries can be a bit iffy sometimes.
I bought this battery from Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08S3P9YMR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And replaced my old one, it seems to be working fine. I haven't been using my OnePlus7Pro as my main phone anymore so a bit hard judge completely, but from charging to nominal use it seems ok.
If anything maybe check that out as a different battery option.
Skinomi makes a protector specially for the 7 Pro. Available on Amazon. You get two in the kit, great video instructions. I have had the first one on this phone for a long time, only now getting ready for a replacement.

I bought my OP7 pro used November 2020. Came with an IQ Shield protector installed and a second new one as extra. I replaced the one the original owner had installed with the extra. It's been on the phone now for almost a year through probably 20 drops or so and looks great.
I've had mixed feelings about tempered glass protectors as every phone I buy them for have problems with touch or chips in the glass and don't last half as long.
I also really like the ArmorSuit brand. I used those on my LG Optimus, LG G3, and LG G6 over 7 years with next to no issues.

Another perk is that without the splitter, I can use a warp charger for the phone.
I've been using AutoSync for Google Drive. It's a neat app, I'm thinking of getting the Pro version but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Try these, they're uv cured and work really well. 3 pack for like $18 is pretty good value. Also comes with an extra installation kit in case you screw one of them up.
this is the one I have on and you can see in the reviews of people who loves it and it gotten rid of scratches from their phone or those that distroyed the phones top speaker in the process, it is a timely process is I can understand not using it
Is that a virus trying to transform your flawless OP7pro into having a punch hole!?

I had the dbrand case for a few months, felt like it was slowly falling apart on me though so I ditched it.
Bought this case a year ago and have had zero regrets whatsoever. Popsocket stays on just fine and haven't had any overheat issues either.
If you want to get the update early download oxygen updater:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arjanvlek.oxygenupdater&hl=en&gl=US
This app distributes the exact same Update File as OP does.
Edit: You just get the update earlier
I considered it too for a while, then i found this awesome thing on amazon italy. It protects the corners and the back without adding bulk on the sides of the phone.
Used it for a year and a half and i'm totally satisfied with it!

I've tried a few but this one is the best so far, UV activated adhesive you can apply yourself, comes with everything you need to clean and install, some tutorials on YouTube to help, just be carefully with the applying on the very edges or it will look like it's pealing a little
The screen protector that I purchased from amazon has the uv reactive liquid glue, comes with a mini USB lamp. amazon link
I recommend UAG case, it protected my phone from the occasional drops. 10/10. The case is a bit heavy though.link
This case isn't for everyone but if you drop your phone on a flat ground or as flat as possible it will not let the screen touch the ground. This case has a nice forehead and butt if you will.
If I could take a picture of my phone laying on a flat surface you'd see it's lifted on the front and bottom..
You could try the amfilm one. I think it is full adhesive straight out of the box. Mine has lasted since I got my OP7P last January.
Got a 3 pack of these UV screen protectors made by akcoo for around $15 usd (they're pretty much like the whitestone dome). Haven't had any problems with them, they're great.
and I'd also recommend this app if you want similar wallpapers and it has some of the best abstract and minimal wallpaper all in one place, easy to apply and change.
Getting a decent Dongle dac and decent earbuds like blon bl03s, 05s or tin t2s would probably poop on any ~$100 all in one options.
14 days late but I used an open source app called systemUI tuner You don't need to root but you need a computer to set it up https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner
i use this one .3 in the package + you get a gift after opening the package and following a site. I got 2 wireless chargers and a pair of wireless headphones already. Its free so don't expect the best quality but imo the wireless charger is really good(it can even fast charge).
Use Pixel Filter it has an option which turns off odd pixels and keeps shifting them after every 15-20 minutes, so no burn in.

The Apple USB-C to Jack dongle just doesn't work with regular headphone jacks and OnePlus 7 Pro. It only works (with low volume) with TRRS jacks, the ones with 3 black stripes. I learned this at my expense and had to purchase another dongle, made by Huawei, from Amazon. It was just around 7 Euros: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B076X8W2QR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-aidDb4SJ9KQK
You can get the OnePlus dongle as well but it's much more expensive considering you have to factor in the shipping costs.
I have Poetic's case, which is similar to the Ringke Fusion-X. I went with this one because it was available on Amazon and the Ringke was not. The Poetic is a perfect fit, solid and you can see the back.

It might be a sensor. Similar thing happened to me on my pixel. Turned out the screen protector was just slightly covering the light sensor. I don't know where that sensor is on the op7pro but here is a piece of software that I can tell you what the phone is doing, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fivasim.androsensor Think it's the light sensor, but might be different in this phone.

I did not import it, I bought it in India from Amazon (official partner) can you check if it is the same for you too?
I used activity launcher
Updates between models should be roughly the same. As long as they're both Oxygen OS they should receive updates around the same time.
As for battery stats check out an app called Accubattery. Although I'm not 100% sure it's entirely accurate, apparently my battery is at 88% capacity even though my SoT is the same, if not better than it was when I first got it.
I use Pulse SMS and restart the phone weekly or so to help prevent the text delay issues. Honestly I never did figure out what caused it for me.
The icon pack set in the Launcher is Saturate icon pack (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ddt.free.icon.packs), but some icons are manually set by this icon pack: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ddt.destroyer.icon.pack Then I manually set the system and Google icons using the OnePlus 7Tpro McLaren icon pack available on the Apk Mirror website. It's a big job, I had to set many icons manually, but it's worth it. I really like how the work came 😊 The wallpaper i was found in Telegram italian Group of Op7/7Pro , but but it can be found easily on the Zedge app
I can't tell you. I know there is the McLaren icon pack (the one I used in this home) available on the Apk Mirror website, and there are several Mclaren Wallpapers on the App like Zedge. But I can't tell you about specific topics. As a main icon pack, however, I used this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ddt.destroyer.icon.pack and this https://play.google.com/store/apps/ details? id = ddt.free.icon.packs by manually setting most icons.

Gotcha. There's an app called snapmod. Where you can select any phone's model and paste your screen shot on that's device's screen . :) Here's the android link for SnapMod :))
These posts are getting old.
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/the-google-assistant-powered-ambient-mode-is-rolling-out-to-oneplus-devices.1182069/#post-21325218 Explains the delay. And also they have rolled out update 10.3.1 or 10.0.4 which has the security update for January.
