Great for generating nice routes on motorcycle.

Another thread today was asking about apps that create a round trip I just installed kurvieger on android and it's setup loads of great places around me to go.

iOS you can import the routes into scenic via the kurvieger website.

Seems like Kurviger Pro on Android and the paid version of Scenic on iOS will do that.

Do you want the app to find the route for you, or to enter it yourself?

If the former, that's what Calimoto and Kurviger claim to do, but I've not used either yet:

If the former, none are good for planning routes on-the-move, but I think CoPilot's not as bad as it might be. There's a lot of satnav apps out there, and you'll likely find the UI decisions make-or-break it more than this feature. It's a little out-of-date now, but I wrote this a little after the last time I tried all the reccomendations: http://avi.co/motorbike-satnavs/

Google's generally crap at navigation unless all you want is to be taken to a postcode; there used to be bodges for importing routes into it, but I think it still just ignores any waypoints and takes you directly to your last point if you cause it to re-calculate.
