Just in time for TSS lol
Its fine. Just a slightly watered down version of the console and pc game. I would also recommend Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga, its actually a direct port of the original game.
Lego games. I think they're some of the best games to introduce to non-gamers in general. Any age.
I’d say go for the first one, Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga; It runs at 60FPS on all platforms (even Wii), no voice acting, not much going on screen/easy to see what's going on, 2-player Co-op [local only], fun for all ages, simple controls.
Gameplay: you go through Star Wars movies 1-6 in point-A-to-B levels whilst solving simple puzzles, killing enemies and collecting Lego pieces (which are used to unlock characters).
The newer Lego games also great, but have a lot more going on in them and may be a bit disorienting for people (or at least I find them to be sometimes). There’s motion blur, depth of field, more detailed animations, multiple sources of light, 252836 colors on the screen at once etc.
And on top of all that, they run at 30FPS or below on consoles, unlike Star Wars Complete Saga which runs at 60FPS. Lego Force Awakens on PS3 runs at goddamn 20-25FPS.
Anyways, the game is available on PC, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One (via backwards compatibility)
Edit: Also available on iOS & Android (1:1 ports). Episode 1 is free. Try it out yourself if you want.

There are some really good ports of Lego games:
Here are some other good ports:
As for some android originals, I have really enjoyed some of the stuff Amazon Game Studios has put out. They limit availability to Kindle devices, unfortunately, but if you have a Kindle you can play it there or back it up and copy it to another non-Kindle device where it also works fine.
The Complete Saga is on Google Play.
If you like the Lego Star Wars games, the complete saga just came out for $6.99.
