A link to the 360° asmr experience, it works in a browser or vr headset. If you want to use an android or apple vr headset thingy I think you have to download the littlstar app from google play or the apple and choose the asmr category for phones and/or the “gyro” option for vr headsets.
>As far as I'm aware theres only a few video's out that will work and most of them are tech demos.
I think there's quite a decent selection these days.
Littlestar VR Cinema, Discovery VR, New York Times VR, Vrideo Inc., Jaunt VR, Within (formerly VRSE), the 360Video Youtube channel and I'm sure a whole lot of other content that I can't remember right now or don't yet know about. It's not all stereoscopic, and not always great quality, but there are some gems here and there and it's all worth exploring for someone who is new to VR.
(you can tack on an additional thousand or so clips if you include adult content)
> You cant just watch normal fullscreen videos as it will only be half of the screen in one eye and half of the screen in the other.
VR media players handle standard 2D content by splitting the screen in half and rendering the same content for each eye. Some even give you a virtual cinema environment to sit in if that's your cup of tea (Cmoar VR Cinema or VRTV Video Player for example, among others). I can't remember if Fulldive VR does or not, but it's worth checking out anyway because it indexes a lot of video content as well, and a whole lot of other stuff.
I've seen some good ones on lttlstar
