I like to have my notifications on my home screen. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roymam.android.notificationswidget
You can use Jack's music widget to control which ever player you're using at the moment. Meta widget turns "any" website into a widget. STFU widget is an easy way to manage sound profiles. C. A. F. gives you different folders at different times/locations.
NiLS Lock Screen can potentially display individual messages of the block notifications that you're seeing. However, WhatsApp modified their notifications, and so NiLS isn't able to support (currently).
This is a lock screen replacement app, so I'm unsure of what that may affect (e.g. Android Pay/Samsung Pay).
I don't know of any other apps like this, but if anyone discovers them, I'm all ears.
I've thought about this before, and the closest I've ever got is using NiLS as a widget on the homescreen, but of course this is a long stretch from what you and I are both looking for. I've just looked and Nova launcher can make the home button toggle the notification drawer, so it requires two clicks (One to go home and another to bring down the blind) so it's also close but no cigar.
It's also worth noting that this idea worked best with the old kitkat drawer as it filled the whole page. This post is fairly pointless, but at least you rest assured you're not alone in your idea :)

NiLS lockscreen notification does it.
Steal the topic a little bit... Anyone know of app that shows notification on home screen? I could only find a Dashclock extension that does it but it's hard to set up.
NiLS Lock Screen Notification can do what you want.
Only found out because another prior iOS user wanted similar expanded notifications
Hello! Thanks for responding!
For the second part, regarding the Lock Screen, the options which seem to be available to me are either Show everything on lock screen, show nothing on lock screen, or 'hide sensitive' on lock screen. However, the third option just shows you have a text message. What iPhone converts are familiar with, however, is an option to only show the Sender's Name, not the detials of the message. It does seem like a simple and useful feature, that i very much struggled with. I ended up downloading NILS to solve that.
Still looking for any/all help on the initial part, IE, not have notifications in the notification drawer at the top, that are quickly/easily exposed via one swipe down.
I use NiLS lock screen notification. It's a widget that shows your notifications on your homescreen. Lots of features.

There are several. Usually they are replacement lockscreens, but you can use NiLS, which overlays the notifications on any lockscreen you already use.
In the past I've also used SlideLock Locker and SnapLock with positive results.
I actually found an app (via reddit, actually) (nils)
I personally prefer Nova Launcher over Apex; it's always felt smoother and more stable to me. And it offers a lot of customization options.
Regarding displaying more info on the lockscreen try using NiLS lockscreen notifications and enable the floating notifications option. It should start displaying your notifications on screen (ie get a message from gmail you can tape it on ur lockscreen and read it in a scrollable box) it's a nice solution to not being able to put custom widgets on a homescreen. If you don't want to use that try AcDisplay Lockscreen Replacer and use it's widget options to display Dashclock

And how's circle launcher working out for you? I used to use it back when I had an HTC Thunderbolt but nowadays it seems pretty choppy when I use it.
Regarding the notification bar; as far as I know you can't hide it completely unless you have root (there is an xposed module that allows you to set whether the notification bar should show or not on each app respectively)
I'm going to be honest; you're grammar is all over the place (assuming English isn't your first language) and I'm having a hard time comprehending what you are asking for the lockscreen. From what you're saying that sounds impossible. You could try looking up an app that allows you to lock certain apps under a pin code. Google came up with this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.domobile.applock
I believe the feature to double tap to lock on the homescreen is only enabled on the default homescreen on the LG G3. IIRC it still works when you double tab the notification bar on any app though.
HOWEVER: On Nova Launcher (with the prime version) you could set a double tap gesture to the homescreen that starts the activity which would get the job done. I am not sure if Apex can do this from lack of experience.
