There's an app called S'mores that pays $0.10 per phone per day. I use it with my farm (3 devices), and it pays amazon gift cards instantly once you have $1 in your account. You have to make separate accounts for each of your phones, but I believe that does not go against their TOS. Hope this helps!

One of the money making applications I like the most is S'more Lockscreen. This application shows ads on your lockscreen and you have to swipe them away. It is not as annoying as it sounds to me. You earn 10 points (10 cents) a day. I let everything add up for a few months and then I cash out a gift card.

I have some answers, but they aren't reliable sources of income, and won't compare to getting a real job. But, if a quick buck or two is your goal...
Nowadays, even elementary/middle school students have a smartphone, so I would recommend S'mores, which allows you to make a fixed 10 cents a day by putting image ads on your lock screen (granted you unlock your phone at least once a day).

I remember using Swagbucks and other such sites before I was old enough to get a job (this was early high school). The Swagbucks search bar allows you to make a small amount of cash just by using it as a normal search engine (I think the interface is similar to Yahoo Search). You can also watch videos or complete surveys for small amounts of cash.

But I do want to emphasize this is not an ideal way of making money if your goal is to save up for a new AAA video game title or a smartphone. This is fine for treating yourself to a movie once in a while, or getting a cheap item off of Amazon.
I use an app to put ads on my lockscreen for about $0.10 a day. This one is from S'more which has a minimum payout of $1 and can go up in $0.10 intervals.
A few weeks ago I was able to cash out and trade a $2.30 gift card lol
S'more is an app with lockscreen ads. 10 cents a day to swipe up an extra time every time you unlock your phone. use code 9kh9wj to start with extra points (i think it starts you at like 45 cents instead of nothing.) You can cash out for amazon at anything over a dollar (including weird amounts, like $1.30) and payouts have always come to my email super quickly even late at night and on weekends. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lab465.SmoreApp
Here's S'more! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lab465.SmoreApp
I use that in combination with SlideJoy also if you also want more easy stuff: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slidejoy
Both are lockscreen apps that put ads on your lockscreen and pay whether you open the ad or not. Both can work at the same time (just you will have to swipe through both S'more and SlideJoy in addition to your Android lockscreen)
I still use mobile performance meter as I get 20 points a day. So that's about a $5 amazon gift card every 20 days. Many people only get 10 points a day though. It is also based on location so if they already have enough people in your area, you may not get it. Many gift card options including amazon. Referral/Non
I just got back into survey savvy with their $5 per device/a month promotion. I remember I used them a long long time ago and ended up uninstalling them because I found it pretty lame but the promotion makes it worth it to me now. They pay out by check. Referral/ Non
Screenwise is good, though they are getting rid of the laptop/computer device it seems. You get $1 a week per device. Many gift card options including amazon.
S'more gives you 10 points per day just for leaving it on your phone. Cashed out several times. Several gift card options including amazon. Referral/Non
Upside gives you cashback on gas. It used to be really good in the beginning when stations were offering like 20c per gallon back, but now the price fluctates, but it still offers some good instore credit. You do get 20c per gallon bonus on your first use through referral. Pays out by paypal or check Referral/Non
Drop is pretty great for linking your card and it automatically keeps track of your purchases in your pick of 5 stores and you get around 1% back if you choose the stores that offer at least 10p back per dollar spent. Several gift card reward options. Refferal/Non
While not super passive as you have to scan receipts I use Ibotta for cashback on groceries. I don't make a whole lot because I mostly buy produce so not a lot of branded stuff but it's still like 50c back a trip using the 25cents any item and then any other produce offer. Pay out by $20 minimum paypal/venmo or gift cards including amazon. That's the only thing I don't like about them- the $20 minimum cashout. Referral/Non
Qmee used to be pretty good but I haven't gotten much from it in the past two years or so.
So weird! I was just about to make a post about passive income! Let's call it PiggyBanking! :P
Here are some mobile apps I use to make a few cents a day (about $5-10 a month) doing nothing.
S'more (lockscreen app) - One swipe and it's out of your way. And it's a guaranteed 10 cents for that day.
McMoney - My personal favorite. "Get paid real money for helping us improve worldwide communication. All you have to do is receive text messages on your mobile phone once in a while." I donated my last PayPal payout to the Yang campaign.
Mobile Performance Meter (data collection) - If you're like most people and not a hawk about protecting your data, they already have it. Might as well get paid for it. Now, Andrew does.
There are probably more ideas if we scour "passive income" on r/beermoney. I haven't been active in the community lately.
A few thousand of us doing some of these things for a couple months will be a huge (and basically free) boost to our Q4 donation goals!
EDIT: Also, for anybody who wants to get serious about this, and has a spare smartphone laying around, there's phone farming (youtube it) which rakes in even more money. CashMagnet alone used to net me like $7 a month per phone and requires almost no babysitting. Other veterans used apps like Perk and SwagBucks, but those required more "attention checks" every x hours making them a little less "passive".

Did you ever buy Amazon Prime discounted phones in US? Or, tried apps like S'more? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lab465.SmoreApp
Check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaFq1dWj1g8 video about Amazon Prime discounted Ad phones, but I think they closed the ads for over 1 year now. Now they don't comes with ADs anymore.

They will show ads on your lock screen, when you try to unlock your screen it will display ads.
Offtopic but
With S'More for just using it, atleast once a day, I would get 10 cents/day so almost 3$/month. I was doing it in college long time ago, they used to have no limits on phones per home I think? (now it is 1 device per home). I was in college, and used to buy cheap 5~10$ phones from bestbuy (they were promotional no contract phones, locked to certain carriers only like boost lg tribute hd was 20$ in Black Friday 2017, etc.). You can check out /r/beermoney, but I had a phone farm and was generating points via Perks TV, etc. Watch ads and gets points, etc. I wouldn' install on main work phone, but for cheap older android phones I had getting 3$/month/device from S'more was quite nice for me
S'mores and Smores.tv are different companies. As such, the s'more's app isn't part of the device limit for Engageme.tv and Smores.tv.
I use S'more, it adds lock screen ads and I think you can take surveys but I don't. I've cashed out around $15 so far. You can choose different gift cards. I've gotten used to it and never pay it any attention until I realize I can cash out. You can at $1.
Another one that's similiar is Fronto, but I didn't like it since payout was unpredictable.
Not quite what you're asking for, but I also use Ibotta and have made $256 so far in less than a year. It's a rebate app but I love it because usually I have coupons for the rebates, too. Cashes out for PayPal, Amazon, other gift card. I don't consider it doing tasks so much as just regular shopping. I only buy what I need if it's on there.
There's also Google Rewards that won't give you cash but I've used it to pay for other stuff on the play store that I didn't want to spend my money on. It has also paid for my Play Music subscription.
S' more I use it on my tablet but its meant for phones.
