Slitherlink is one of my favorite puzzle games of all time. There's a free version with tons of puzzles and a paid version with unlimited randomly generated puzzles. It's a fantastic rule-based puzzle game that requires a lot of geometric intuition to solve harder ones.
I recommend starting with Hex grids as the easiest, then square, then kite, then cairo. Despite having the exact same ruleset they each have their own unique behaviour due to the differences in grid intersections. However all of them are fun.
Also ich löse gerne slitherlink.

I actually know of this variant in Slitherlink by Ejelta LLC. The variant is called Kites in the app and I did solve a few of the hard huge ones before.
Personally I feel like it's a combination of Squares and Hexagons, with a twist regarding the 6-way vertices which are very important since only at most 2 of the 6 edges can be connected.
Thanks for the suggestions! :)
May I in return suggest another cool puzzle game, a little bit in the vain of Alcazar? It's called Slitherlink.
The goal is to find a set of edges that together form exactly one closed loop, and you get minesweeper-like clues about how many edges a cell is surrounded by. The game has multiple grid types, like squares, hexagon/honey comb, etc. to solve and apparently hundreds of levels to solve.
Slitherlink - big demo and paid unlimited version on g store or free (and updated) on underground
Right now I've got Slitherlink, The Battle of Polytopia, The Witch's Isle, Adventure Bar Story, and Rust Bucket.
Slitherlink is a puzzle game where you connect dots according to the number in a cell. A cell with a three requires three lines. To solve it you must make a single loop that complies with all of the numbers. There are four board layouts, each with four sizes, and each with three difficulty settings. Every configuration of these settings has 50 free trial levels. You won't run out of levels anytime soon, and if you do the full game is pretty cheap.
The Battle for Polytopia is a free strategy game that reminds me of Civilisation. Conquer hexes, gain new perks, use them to conquer more hexes. Has in game purchases for expansions only.
The Witch's Isle is a point-and-click game with a time rewind mechanic. You have to figure out how to complete objectives by interacting with objects you find. Every rewind, you learn more about the island, and come one step closer to solving the puzzle. It's different, but enjoyable. Also free.
Adventure Bar Story EDIT: is unfortunately no longer free, but still great fun. One of the best RPGs on mobile. You defeat monsters for ingredients. You make food. Sell it for money, or eat it for experience. Every ten days you compete to rise in the ranks and make your bar more popular.
Rust Bucket is a puzzle game. You must manouvre your character through a tile based dungeon while fighting all sorts of enemies, each with their own attack pattern that you have to learn to know when it is safe to attack them. Has a roguelike mode with infinite rooms, and a campaign mode with short puzzles.
Edit: links in the titles.
For every puzzle fan of the sudoku kind I would recommend Slitherlink. Dangerously addictive and brainwrecking.
This collection has some good ones and there's always /r/mathriddles, with various levels of interesting math problems. For video games, you can try We Were Here, a free two-player puzzle game reminiscent of escape rooms. The sequels were even better, although not free. And of course, there are actual escape rooms. Ah, and if you're looking for something sudoku-like, slitherlink is a great alternative.
Slitherlink (unfortunately google have only old outdated version, and new one aint available anymore coz amazon underground is down too);
for more recently puzzle forge ii and bleentoro
