Hello everyone, Resonance is a Math plus path-finding puzzle game. The game has 500 levels. It starts from 3 by 3 grid and goes up to 15 by 15 grid.
In this game, you will be given initial amount of energy(points). Your every move will cost you energy which is the number written on the cell. Goal of the game is to reach the end point before your energy goes below zero.
There are many ways in which you can reach the end point but there is only one way in which you can reach the endpoint with the given amount of energy.

I have played a game like this in on my phone around 3 years ago in preparation for drafting class. I'll try to find the game again!
Edit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jovijano.isometric game is called isometric but it got bad reviews. They changed the interface since their initial version so I had trouble finding the game. Still, you can try it!
The text marked with ']' says "We are watching you", and the text above the the circle symbol says "Trust in him, for we know not of who we really are without him"
If you're on Android, Simon Taham's Puzzles has this under "keen." It may not be the prettiest app, but it has an amazing number of randomly generated Sudoku-like puzzles.
It's an exact clone of Move The Box, but with worse graphics, and worse game design choices. No thank you.
EDIT: How many people did you pay to give you all those 5-star ratings?!
My go-to is Simon Tatham's Puzzles.
It has many different types of puzzles which the app randomly generates, giving it infinite replayability. As a bonus, it is free and has no ads.
Check out the game Flow Free on App Store or Google Play if you want more of these puzzles on your phone/tablet.
Wouldn't your geocache be more rewarding if you figured it out yourself?
Also, knowing this context is probably germane to the problem... since I don't feel like signing up for the site, what's the Lat/Long associated with the geocache?
They're called Einstein's Puzzles or Zebra Puzzles. I've used an app by rottzgames called Einstein's Riddle Logic Puzzles to solve them before. I reckon I'd completed all the puzzles before uninstalling it.
Ricochet Robots is an awesome little puzzle board game in which you try to get individual robots to specific target squares faster and in less moves than your opponents. Robots must move orthogonally and must continue in a straight line until it hits a wall or other robot. In the process of getting said robot to said square, you can move any of the other robots as needed.
Normally you have to get a specific robot to a tile of its respective color; but in this particular case, the goal is to get any of the 4 robots (red, green, yellow, blue) to the vortex tile - the multicolored symbol just above the central block.
Let's see what you've got.
I made this for you.
[spoiler](/s"Exponentiation is easy and so is summing the digits. Multiplication of long numbers (needed for the exponentiation) is a concern but it's still pretty fast. The number of digits grows a bit more slowly than I expected (800^800 has only 2320 digits) so even a naive implementation seems feasible, but I have to wonder if there are any shortcuts.")
there is an arabic youtuber that made a puzzle app that he claimes to be the hardest. yesterday I posted the first puzzle and it was solved so this is the second puzzle.

Hello everyone, I have made a casual puzzle game called Resonance. The game has 500 levels. It starts from 3 by 3 grid and goes up to 15 by 15 grid. The game becomes difficult from level 9. Below is the link if you want to try.

Thanks for your time.
Discussion: I love this app! It's Chris Boyle's Android port of a collection of free and open-source puzzles by Simon Tatham, the creator of PuTTY.
I'm not associated with Simon Tatham or Chris Boyle, I just really appreciate the app. :)
I don't know about free websites, but my wife and I have an earlier edition of this book by Mensa, and it's kept us thinking for hours upon hours. It's worth the cost, and no, I'm not a Mensa member, don't work for Amazon, or in any other way am affiliated with the book. We just enjoy it, that's all.
Yes you can only click on yellow squares.
You can try the beta version of the game on Android: https://play.app.goo.gl/?link=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.journotconcept.boardtakeover
I have a "Source" button under each comment. I'm not 100% sure if that's built in to Reddit or if it's a feature of Reddit Enhancement Suite, which I have installed and highly recommend.
[guess](/s "I split it into sections of 8 as you suggested, and then removed all characters that were the same in each set, which yielded a set of three-digit numbers. I plugged it into hex and it output some text, consisting of characters separated by spaces. Removing the spaces and adding '=' at the end, you get the base64 VTetDv6eVtdtVUdd5f5dE5y6E5y=, which decodes to U7VmUG]]. I don't know if that actually means anything though. I've tried running it through various ciphers and such, and tried putting the result in urls, e.g. https://tinyurl.com/U7VmUG, but I've gotten no-where. I don't think it means anything.")
Answers have been posted: https://theintercept.com/2016/01/01/gchq-play-a-british-spy-game-the-solutions/ I got 19 points, not giving myself any points for [3a and b, since my pairings didn't have same-letter constraint. I also might have given myself a point for 28, since I had two of the groups, but I didn't. I did give myself credit for 8d, since I think India/Hindustan is as good as Israel/Ha'aretz. On the other hand, I included the ones I got from jahfool2 and Cally343. Thanks!](/sp) Am I missing something, or does the answer for 10e not work? Edit: Also, 9b only works for the second and third lines.
Check this previous thread.
Your teacher told you it has a "seven" in it? That's interesting...
I've always used gimp, which is open source (and free). Steps to recreate the image above would be as follows:
Well, these are Apple emojis so I looked each one up on https://emojipedia.org
Here's each emoji depicted (top line only) along with their "alternate names":
Blonde Haired Woman|Woman With Blonde Hair +
Clinking Glasses|Celebration|Champagne Glasses|Cheers +
Man In Tux|Groom|Man In Suit +
Raised Hand|High Five|Stop +
Kiss Mark|Kissing Lips +
T +
Man|Male|Mustache Man
I don't think they're making a word out of the top line. Maybe it's supposed to symbolize something? It seems like they're inferring marriage from the first few, but I don't know how t+face plays into that...or what a hand has to do with lips.
Being none of the above is an answer, I didn't feel spoiler tags were warranted.
I'm 99% sure the bottom line is supposed to be [spoiler guess](/sp "Color of Love").
Hope this helps someone get an answer.
@OP - Is this something you made up? Or is this something you're trying to figure out? If it's not yours, where did it come from?
No problem. These puzzles are very difficult. I've spent hours on some making incremental headway (like puzzle 21). Other's just click after a few days when I'm doing something else (like this one).
Take a look at this link: https://brilliant.org/wiki/pattern-recognition-visual-easy-2/
It takes you through some steps in pattern recognition that are used commonly.
Over time you'll build up a knowledge base of solution patterns that'll act like a tool box for solving other problems.
Good luck.
There are plenty of professional designers that never went to design school. I did, and I'd recommend it 1000%. But, if you're disciplined and are willing to sink enough time into it, there's no reason why you can't learn it on your own.
There are a couple of great courses on Skillshare for designers that cover basic software and principles. You also get feedback from teachers there. I think they still have their $1 for 3 months promotion on.
Ok. So I'm worried I'm missing something critical. My (seriously lacking) regex experience tells me that we can make only 8 character length strings. And these can by any combination of a,h,d,|, and n through t (inclusive).
I just blindly copy/pasted to regexpal to verify.
So, the reason I feel that I must be missing something helpful, is it would seem one would have to hash <= ~~10^8 or 100 million~~ 214,358,881 combinations?
I guess I want to know: is this intended to be a programming puzzle or something someone clever can pull off with just a notepad and terminal?
For Regex, start with IYN(\d[^K])*. >!You can immediately fill in three characters!< and>! have a pattern for the remaining 8.!< Then look at >!its intersection with [7EF]*!<.
This may help you - >! https://regexr.com/!<
Your puzzle inspired me to write a script to encode/decode with the same logic. I took a little liberty on creating the logic of the numbers since it wasn't specified, but it should work relatively well (though there are no error checking whatsoever hahaha).
I'm learning how to code as a hobby and making mini projects out of these little puzzles are mighty fun. Keep them coming! :D
http://www.colourlovers.com/web/blog/2008/07/24/as-seen-by-the-color-blind
This is pretty accurate. The side-by-side images they have all look the same to me at first look. If I focus intently, I can see some slight differences. One example is Marilyn's skin color on the bottom center pic. The two colors look a little different to me. No matter how hard I look, I see no difference between either "The Scream" or "Sunset at Ivry" images.
I eventually see a few differences in the Picasso, but only after looking at it for a minute or two. Once I notice one difference, the other ones start standing out. The first one I saw was the triangle pattern pant legs. The table top is a little less obvious, and the wall is pretty tough to tell apart.
And thank you for taking an interest in improving your design for color blindness.

I enjoyed Montague Island Mysteries, by R. Wayne Schmittberger, who is an editor at Games Magazine. They're the "Bob played tennis with the dentist, who does not own a dog" type puzzles (is there a name for them?), but they are rather twisty and quite enjoyable.

Try Joggle, our original, mildly cerebral word game. Available free for iOS and Android. It was on Apple's Best New Games list in the U.S. last week.
How to Joggle: You are given a crossword-style clue and a six-letter word. You solve the clue by changing two letters in the given word. Here's an example:
Clue: One who owes money
MENTOR
(This is an easy one, but Joggle also has cryptic clues - You can choose the difficulty level. The answer to the above puzzle: DE*B*TOR)

Hi, I have seen that some here have already played this kind of Numbers Game. I played the game myself in school and then at some point I made an app for it.
The goal is simple: match pairs of numbers and clear the board. But to get there can be hard sometimes. You have to find pairs of equal numbers or pairs that add up to 10 (7 and 3, 8 and 2, ...). You can connect pairs in adjacent horizontal and vertical cells, as well as at the end of one line and the beginning of the next. By doing so you can skip already crossed out numbers. If you cannot cross out any more numbers, you then press "Check". All the numbers remaining on the board are then copied after the existing numbers and the game continues.
I added additional features to the game to make it a bit more interesting and there are three different modes. Compared to many similar apps that are now available, this version has no annoying ads.
Would be very happy about feedback.
Welcome to this wooden maze puzzle. The goal of the game is to reach a red crystal. Navigate the ball through the maze, but watch out for the hunters! Truly enjoy the fun of puzzle game: NO wifi needed. Pure game environment: NO time limit. Player moves one field. Hunter moves two fields; his first move is horizontal if the player is left or right of him. Blue crystal opens the gate. Think of the best strategy to overcome the challenge. Mazeball game puzzle is well-designed for mobile phone and tablets as well.

A puzzle math kind of game with a sudoku vibe. You place numbers in squares and when a section is full and it's sum equals the target number at the top, that section is cleared. You play until the board is full. Every 5 clears the target numbers goes up by one.

Between the Lines - a Rebus puzzle app on Android (or may also be on iOS, I don't use it though so I don't know).
Hello everyone, i would like to share with an Android puzzle game I've been working on recently.
In this game, you have to trick a bot to solve the puzzle.
Puzzles usually have several solutions but as levels increase puzzles have less and less solutions, which leads to a higher difficulty.
You can download the game on Android using the link below, i hope you enjoy it!
One digit in the correct position, two in the wrong position... does that remind you of something? Hooray, DYSLOCK app is finally available!
In this mastermind-like puzzle game, you have to find a unique code using several provided clues. Each clue contains a guess for the code and information on how many digits are well-placed and badly-placed.
The game contains a quasi-infinite amount of puzzles, with the number of digits of the code ranging from 2 to 6.
I hope you will enjoy it!

If you like hard riddles/puzzles, I encourage you to try this app!
The instructions are extensive, so you may want to read it on the store or in-app, but in short, you will have to find out the password corresponding to that level, with the clues you are given, which are image(s) and whatever you have in the log.
It's complicated and involves research if you are not familiar with the topic, but you will have hints that will help you a lot!

I second /u/coolpapa2282's Smullyan suggestion.
To expand a bit: Most of Smullyan's books start with a chapter or two of Gardner-style problems before focusing in more on Knight/Knave truthe-lie type puzzles, but there are exceptions.
I grew up on What Is the Name of This Book?]([https://www.amazon.com/What-Name-This-Book-Recreational/dp/0486481980/ref=sr_1_1?crid=22HY745BYX5Z6&keywords=what+is+the+name+of+this+book&qid=1657897909&s=books&sprefix=what+is+the+name+of+%2Cstripbooks%2C105&sr=1-1), and it's still my go-to suggestion for anyone even remotely interested in this type of stuff.
A less well-known suggestion might be The Chicken From Minsk: And 99 Other Infuriating Challenging Brain Teasers From The Great T by Yuri Chernyak. It's got a great diversity of creative (but still rational) problem solving, math-heavy, and/or physics-inspired puzzles.
If you like hard riddles/puzzles, I encourage you to try this app!

discussion: this is a problem by Alex Bellos from this book
This is actually the one that got me hooked... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teazel.learn.cryptic.crosswords but in my case I didn't previously understand how cryptic crossword clues worked. This app introduces each type of clue one by one before you try a "real" crossword. I think then I went to the link you posted, and then paid to upgrade it to the full version (or maybe I got a separate app... not positive)
I love nonogram puzzles, and decided to start publishing my own books with them! It's a fun and challenging way for me to improve my pixel art skills, and share quality puzzles with everyone.
Below is a link to Volume 2 in my series, which has some pretty detailed and large puzzles. This should satisfy intermediate puzzle solvers, with a few tossed in that are incredibly challenging. All are verified solvable with special software too.
Amazon
Volume 3 is coming very soon, and it will have the best puzzles I've made yet!
Thank you for your time.
If you like hard puzzles/riddles, this is for you!
It's a game where you are given some clues, with some images most of the time and you have to find out the keyword we are looking for, by entering it in an input area.
However, you probably don't know what to do and you will have to google and investigate, sometimes make assumptions to try and reach a solution. Try every solution you think of, you never know!
The levels will have a password that will let you instantly teleport to them, so you don't need to start over every time you launch the app, but you must take note of them.
You have hints if you wish to advance a bit or if you get stuck, they greatly help.
Try it with friends or alone!

I wrote a pair of books called Bell’s Codex and my magnum opus. The premise is that an author travels the world for 7 years and then releases a book encrypted in a mysterious code. He offers a monetary reward for solving it and then disappears. Bell’s Codex is an action/thriller novel about trying to decode this book. My magnum opus is the ACTUAL code book from the story. The puzzle is real and the clues for solving it are in the novel. The novel also has a few smaller puzzles throughout. Been trying to find the right group of people who would enjoy this project! You can look at the pinned posts on my profile for more info on the books.
