what's up everybody TheDankener88 here for part seven of 'Black Panther: what went wrong?'.
In the last video, we talked about how a solid script was damaged by Disney's agenda-fueled decision to use a coloured-only cast and how that ruined the film due to the genetically low IQ negro actors. Black Panther is the pinnacle of Diversity-Quota-Culture and it needs to stop. I read through the comments and lots of you said that Tilda Swinton or Scarlett Johansen would have been a lot better for the role of Black Panther and I totally agree, so I've set up a petition which my patrons can enter!
*crosses arms*
Now, I'm all for social change and liberal ideals, but the Social Justice Warriors at Disney and triggered Berkley students have ruined it. That's why I voted Trump in the last election, and fully support his use of concentration camps on the border; we need to stop America turning into shithole Wakanda. Although cucked Disney won't say it, it's pretty clear that we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children as the beauty of the White Aryan woman must not perish from the earth.
Anyway, before we begin, this episode is sponsored by NordVPN. If you're worried Hillary might be watching over you from one of her sex slave islands then you need NordVPN. wow R.I.P my inbox haha! Sean is so excited to see all the people here interested in his game so i'll leave a link to it here.
you don't have to buy it! sean says the attention alone makes this the single happiest day of his life!
Sure, its been used by lots of people because it's meaningless. You can insert whatever beliefs you want in to it. It's you're typical meaning-free sloganeering.

Big Ole update that adds the multiplayer, adds a 3rd person view, emotes, additions and improvements to base building, bunch of other neat stuff. It's finally become the game they said it'd be, only took em 2 years and it was very much worth the wait.
Here are the patch notes for the update.
Kotaku has a nice article about women in BF V
My favorite bit
>What angry dorks mean when they say “historical accuracy” is not a game that’s accurate to the time being presented, then, but accurate to the aspects of that time (or the popular historical re-telling of it) that are sympathetic to their current political and cultural beliefs.
>Q: Didn’t you test old-gen consoles to keep tabs on the experience?
>
>A: We did. As it turned out, our testing did not show many of the crashes you experienced while playing the game.
CDPR really has the gall to blatantly lie like this lmao
/uj I'm all for the anti-circlejerk for Fallout 76. But the least bethesda could do in ths midst of this outrage is CHANGE THE FACT THAT THEIR WEBSITE STILL SAYS THAT ITS A CANVAS BAG. This is just PR Disaster Recovery 101
/uj This reminds me of the one time that I decided to browse gog.com to see if some games would be chaper than steam.

I was watching Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky when I realized that this game was labeled under a list called something like "Anita Sarkeesian favorite list" which was made by some guy who was targeting games with strong women as a negative.

Left a bad taste in the site for me.
Were you referring to this article? While the author argue that the art style used in the game carries with it the legacy of past works it was used in, the article never calls the game itself 'racist', if anything their claim is that the game is unintentionally witewashing the context of the style. While I personally don't agree with that argument, it's a far cry from calling the game itself racist or not racist.
Wow damn. I did read that he wasn't expecting to live for very much longer (read it here) but i didn't expect it to happen so soon.
So heres a wonderful article from Kotaku explaining that yes, game development is really expensive now a days
https://kotaku.com/why-video-games-cost-so-much-to-make-1818508211
Of course the comment section is full of people saying stuff like, "you don't know anything!" Neverminding that Jason Scheiber actually wrote a long book explaining game development process where in he traveled to numerous studios and interviewed numerous devs to get his facts straight.
Came across this Kotaku article about all the new content currently in the pipeline for Final Fantasy XV. Of course, the comments are practically nothing but "DAE INCOMPLETE GAME?! DAE MILKING IT?! DAE LAZY DEVELOPERS?! DAE EA?!" Uggghh...
Epic gives 1.2 million to the blender foundation (a free 3D modelling software). To put things in perspective, they currently receive 43169$ / month from donation. Yet somehow, people managed to turn this into a REEEE epic bad.
OK, from the whole game team including localization and marketing, let's say this guy refers as "devs" to only those people related with making the game, which is writing, programming, music, sound and testing.
That's a total of 471 people.
A very rough estimate of an 80% of those people are male, therefore, just for the purpose of this estimation, let's assume they all have a dick, which gives us a number of about 377 dicks to be sucked.
If the average erect penis length is 5 inches, that's a total of 1885 inches, 157 feet or about 48 meters worth of dick. If an average blowjob would take about 100 sucks to reach climax (just a random number, not considering a level of arousal) in about 5 minutes, that would be 4.8 kms or almost 3 miles of dick to suck in about 31 hours, or an average speed of 0.1 dick-miles or 0.16 dick-kilometers per hour.
In speed I'm sure not, but I think this guy wants to break some sort of record.
He does though: he pays them money for the privilege of giving them e-fellatio them.
/uj I like how he's completely ignoring that you can actually pay to skip the progression system if you want, and it even comes bundled with the Ultimate Edition.
DAE a bit weired/tired out by the never ending pining for "why don't lazy devs just use AI in games?" (not an actual quote). For example.
I know there's forever a /r/futurism style fetish over any new tech presented with an infomercial style "with this simple advancement a indie studio improved their villager NPCs in two steps", but AI in games topic just keeps coming up, year after year and people expect it to turn up and overhaul every aspect of game production.
Funny how no one ever mentions AI war in these discussions, which is meant to be extremely hard because the learning AI doesn't hold back.
"You are never dedicated to something you have complete confidence in. No one is fanatically shouting that the sun is going to rise tomorrow. They know it's going to rise tomorrow. Because nobody has ever lied about something on the internet this week have they?
Holy fuck they are so deluded.
The Factorio devs recently released a blogpost :
https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-366
This blogpost talks primarily about the coding advice of Uncle Bob. His coding advice is considered by some to be good, by others to be outdated. This controversy isn't about the coding advice though. Uncle Bob (or Robert C. Martin) had been involved in some controversy (This seeems like a link with some background info, I haven't followed this issue so far.) https://www.reddit.com/r/internetdrama/comments/8me34n/a_compilation_of_robert_c_martin_drama_some/
So, one of the people on the factoria subreddit pointed this out and suggested that the Factorio Devs might want to put in a disclaimer or something.
This then provoked the factorio dev into a rant about cancel culture, which ended here.
There's a significant amount of men who never learned to carry emotional burdens in relationships, or even perform stuff like basic chores. They're not doing it out of malice -- they're doing it because they legitimately never learned, and women are more conditioned to just quietly handle stuff and not make a fuss (She divorced me because I left dishes by the sink is a good article about this).
So it's not that people purposely date morons, but that it's significantly harder to find one that isn't due to gendered cultural norms.
HOLY SHIT, NEW COMBAT CHANGES IN 76. FINALLY!
Are you using the new Reddit Redesign?
Us lazy mods have been updating both the classic and new subreddit styles, because there is no reason not to spend half an hour if there’s even the smallest split in users.
It’d be nice to know roughly how many are on the latest Reddit though.
🔗 Strawpoll Yes/No question here!
Redesign is currently in development, but in open-beta
As I kind of expected, EA didn't kill Visceral because they hate single-player, they killed it because the Star Wars game was a mess

Jason Schreier wrote
>Some fans have also theorized that this might be some sort of remaster of Fallout 3 or Switch port of Fallout 4, but from what we’ve heard, this is a new game, one that takes the series in a brand new direction. We’re expecting to see more tomorrow.
Yeah, they released it like 14 years ago
Music of the spheres, Martin O' Donnell's musical work for destiny is finally leaked after 4 years.
You guys should grab it here just in case it gets taken down. This is too amazing. I can't say anything but wow listening to this.
POC here. It really breaks my immersion when all the NPCs aren't white, I mean don't these SJW devs know that 99% of the world population is white? It's immersion breaking not to mention historically inaccurate.
/uj for real though I just find it funny they're realizing they're the minority on the global scale, usually hilarious to see them throw a hissyfit about it.
So I posted this yesterday. Looks like there was more to the story of Visceral's shut down than a lot of people were assuming. Can't say I blame EA now for closing it's doors especially considering where the studio was located. Looks like they've been living on borrowed time ever since Dead Space 3 came out.
I've never thought about it before but where do you buy communion wafers? I mean, if I wanted some I'd have no idea where to get them.
Edit: Nevermind, Amazon has them.
Just say your Hail Geraldos and perhaps one day you'll be as good of a Gaymer as myself. It takes years of practice and hating minorities but the payoff is definitely worth it. 😎
They announced Skyrim for Alexa. www.amazon.com/Zenimax-Media-Inc-Special-Edition/dp/B07D6STSX8/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
They were joking though.
He also said, "Sometimes it doesn't just work."
I'm going to play RAID: Shadow Legends while designing my website with Squarespace, using NordVPN to protect myself of course, making sure to check my grammatical errors with Grammerly. Meanwhile, for lunch, I'll cook a delicious meal with Blue Apron, and then eat while taking my Skillshare course. Later, I'll give myself a good shave using the razor I got from my Dollar Shave Club subscription, and even hit the you-know-whats with Manscaped.
Has there ever been a company that sponsored a YouTube video that wasn't either ExpressVPN, Dollar Shave Club, Amino App, or Blue Apron? Come on, if you're gonna blur the line between YouTube videos and TV, at least give us some variety.
Oh man, prepare for the internet to get super mad:
Apparently Fallout 76 will be an online game of sorts.
edit: Although I will say that the trailer pegged me as a game being run on the Creation Engine ( + it's being done in conjunction with the main studio), which makes me think this might be more of a "singleplayer game that features an major online element" instead of a full outright online game per se.
Although that's more because I am currently imagining the Creation Engine trying to process 20 different players doing different things in a somewhat large space.
Did y'all know that making "movie theater popcorn" is actually dummy easy and pretty dummy cheap too
You just getcha popcorn, melt down some coconut oil, drizzle that on your popped corn, and then sift in some Flavacol, of which you only need very little, and viola!
Not to mention that using coconut oil is a must no matter what seasoning you're throwing on there. Gives you a nice element of sweetness and basically acts as an adhesive for all the seasonin' to stick to
When it comes to Schreier, I think he's the only person there who writes must-read stuff, especially on the behind-the-scenes parts of games (his article on the Star Wars Visceral game is fantastic). Basically, if he reports something, I believe it until shown otherwise. The only person when it comes to games that has that reputation for me.
Beyond him, though, the site is pretty meh. Their reviews are fine but nothing special.
Bethesda has decided to leave the pre-beta of Nuclear Winter in the game after the trial ends due to hugely positive feedback from the community. That's some rad shit.
So it turns out there was more to Visceral getting shut down than initially thought.
Also TIL Visceral Games was based in the Bay Area. No wonder EA shuttered them, among other things revealed in the article.
oh thank god, the Skyrim Anniversary upgrade is only $20 for people that already own Special Edition. Looks like they have articles describing all of the new Creation Club stuff they're adding, too.
Not to mention how poorly optimized it is, it takes so long to load.
Edit for context: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/store.steampowered.com/mnpEYbvz
During the fall sale it was awful and got a F.
Saying that some people deserve Alzheimer's is a terrible thing to say and y'all should watch Deep Blue Sea and educate yourselves.
It's backwards compatible. I bought it for $15 on Amazon with all the DLC and everything. Here's a link!
I believe 144hz monitors are best used for e-sports titles like CSGO, DOTA and LOL. In those cases, the extra frames can be the difference between a kill and a miss, and the games are easy to run so the maximum amount of frames can be extracted from them.
But yes, for most games I have no idea if it's worth the investment. As you point out, most widely used engines start crapping themselves post 100+ FPS. Most PCGamingWiki articles have a 120+ FPS checkmark for games, and almost all the games I play don't have it ticked.
To his credit, Yoko Taro didn't bullshit about why 2b is dressed the way she is.

I don’t know if i can trust this damn article but i’m so conflicted I know this isn’t what people asked for but it sounds interesting at the same time, it’s hard to understand what bethesda is thinking though people are ready to burn them at the stake because of creation club...
Hey everyone:
Check. This. Shit. Out.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/632470/Disco_Elysium/
It’s an isometric open-world detective RPG where your skills are different aspects of your personality, and it’s focused on non-combat gameplay, and sometimes failing skill checks can be good, and your skills can talk to you inside your head, and there’s an inventory system for thoughts, and aaaaaaa I’m so hyped!
As far as billionaire CEOs go, Sweeney hasn’t shot himself in the foot and seems to honestly believe in his platform.
Epic in general has always been this weird out of the gaming ecosystem company. Unreal engine runs countless games and epic offers very generous license agreements. Other than general hatred for fortnite Gamers^(TM) epic has been more or less a net positive on gaming. Epics been throwing around their money for more than just their game store, they’ve been throwing around money for grants for all sorts of projects.
Sure, valve working with proton is nice but Sweeney literally offered the Lutris group the grants which allows the team to have an incredible amount of leeway in what they can do (free money basically) with the money.
https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/megagrants
Again, not a massive fan of fawning for multi billion dollar companies as I gain nothing out of it but epic isn’t really the stereotypical “EPIC BAD!” As some people try to make it out to be.

- Ben Shapiro (Let us not forget that he went to college and got a liberal arts degree in political science and most likely pays his taxes). He also goes on about transgender issues he obviously has no idea about. To Shapiro, everything is liberal propaganda, including Sesame Street (no joke).
PewDiePie has hosted many alt-right and even outright fascist people on his "Pew News" section. Not only that, but he followed them on Twitter up until he got into the spotlight with the Christchurch shooting. Now all of his past tweets are deleted and he's only following a couple people. And look at that, right on the front page of his Twitter is him apologizing once again for being again.
And PewDiePie used to tell rape jokes all the damn time during his gameplay videos. He also made a music video called "It's Raping Time."
speaking of Epic shill payments...
" During the Epic Mega Sale, developers and publishers are discounting a ton of great games up to 75% off. Also, for every game purchase $14.99 and above, Epic Games provides an additional $10 off to you at no cost to the publisher or developer. "
/uj anonymous sources within bethesda are saying it's going to be an online survival rpg like DayZ, so get ready for the 'single player is dead' circlejerk. (though to be fair to the circlejerkers i am completely uninterested in an online survival RPG Fallout game)
EDIT: https://kotaku.com/sources-fallout-76-is-an-online-survival-rpg-1826425333
You can blow $27k on new ships and stuff in Star Citizen.
Also Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee version depicts Eevee riding on top of the trainer’s head. There is no reason not to buy this game at this point.
Mostly from rage-baiting articles like this in the wake of EA's closure of Visceral. They were said to be developing a single-player Star Wars game and EA shut them down after that, so obviously people put two and two together. For some reason... (Jason Schreier confirmed it was more complicated than that here)
> the people that care about the stupid crap was a minority on reddit and a part of youtube, I can't accept that reddit posts can kill mainstream releases, the gaming community as a whole probably didn't like the game for legitimate reasons.
It wasn't just reddit, Andromeda was poorly recieved everywhere.
> and I'm sorry, but those obviously awful animations are important, I mean the whole reason why these games are 3d and not isometric is to help immerse yourself with shit like animations.
The bugs and animations were bad, but not everyone experienced them and not everyone's experience was negatively affected by them. I still enjoyed the story and characters despite any bugs and derpy faces. Other games have released with bugs like this, The Witcher 3 was buggy at release, New Vegas was literally unplayable at release, yet they're lauded as masterpieces. The worst Andromeda had going for it was a few animation hiccups yet it's deemed bad enough to get shelved? The gaming community can take those double standards and fuck right off.
For fuck's sake Mass Effect's animations have always been rigid and unnatural-looking, nobody ever complained about how characters in the OT just stood there motionlessly staring into each others' souls, but Ryder makes a derpy face in Andromeda and suddenly "LOL OMFG BIOWARE DOESN'T VIDYA GOOD FIRE THEM ALL?" Fuck. That.
So I'm going to go ahead and bet the next patch for no man's sky will finally deliver true multiplayer. For a long I was pretty ambivalent to the idea of multiplayer in No Man's Sky but after seeing stuff like the galactic hub
I'm kind of curious to see what sort of the things No Man's Sky players would do with true multiplayer. Like assuming that the sort of friendly atmosphere of the subreddit carry's over to multiplayer interaction NMS might end up having one of the most friendly multiplayer communities ever.
He's also way underestimating the price of games. According to devs it cost about $10,000 a month every month while you're developing a game PER EMPLOYEE.
somehow csgo microtransactions got to that point
You know what else is baffling? People not using VPN and compromising their personal data. So, try NordVPN. I use it everyday. And guess what? You will get 50% of 3 months subscription if you use my code. Check out the link down in the description below and get it guys. Get NordVPN.
Oh fuck this is actually real lmao

Plus, Epic is also spending a ton of money developing features for their store, including ones Steam doesn't have. https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/epic-2019-cross-platform-online-services-roadmap.
And meanwhile they're throwing money at devs and consumers (free game every 2 weeks) in order to get people on their platform so they can properly test those features as they roll them out. Plus, the stuff they've announced are things people like me would actually care about.
I have legitimately never used steam forums, reviews, or even refunds because I do research before buying my games. (and Epic has refunds, there's just a limit on the number of no questions asked refunds).
Meanwhile, being cross platform, using less system resources, having integrated voice chat and such are all things that will give them a serious edge.
One nice thing you can say about 2019 for gaming it sure started off with a bang
https://opencritic.com/game/1532/kingdom-hearts-iii
https://opencritic.com/game/6848/resident-evil-2
I mean how many years in gaming can claim to have had two big budgeted 9/10 games released in the first month alone (to be fair 2017 came close with Yakuza 0 and Resi 7). I hope that 2019 will be similar to 2012-2013 in terms of being a great last horah for a setting console generation.
Some interesting stuff here, not much that 'reveals' future content, but it's still nice to see that they're planning to respond to community feedback, especially when it comes to stuff like Fasnacht.
Inside the Vault preview for the next Fallout 76 patch. Talks about the new Pioneer Scouts questline, and backpacks.
Also starting today it's a double XP weekend for 76. Convenient!
Also recommending a comic book because fuck it, you can't have too much of comic books:
Superior by Mark Millar & Leinil Yu (Millarworld).
I dare any of you r/comicbooks fuckers to read this and then go on to tell me that Mark Millar hates superheroes.
It's a really nice little story about a boy with multiple sclerosis who gets a wish from a space monkey and becomes a superhero. It's not very complicated. The art by Yu is fantastic (as expected) and it's so sincere and uncynical that you will question if it was actually written by Millar or if it was also ghost-written by Grant Morrison.
Certain flaws include a mildly liberal use of the r slur by the antagonists and frequent sexualization of female characters. But if you can get past that it's seriously a good read.
On the one hand, I think its kinda cool that they're releasing a printer for Switch screenshots. Games like Odyssey/3D World, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon Snap have camera modes with filters and stuff and this is a cool way of keeping these pictures.
But on the other hand, HOLY SHIT ITS $100!? And it's sold out!? Is this really that much in demand??
uj/ what i fucking hate about people who post shit like this unironically is that they are completely unaware of how rocky the development of Andromeda was. It wasn't just a straight forward process of making the game. Lots of changes and general instability fucked with the development and the final game that we have right now was apparently made in just 18 months.
I like it or I didn't like it essentially is an empty statement. I can say I like Nocturnal Animals. But that doesn't tell anyone why I like that movie.
So you have to dig deeper. What did you like or didn't like? Why? What did you take away from the experience? What was relevant to you? Actors? Director? Themes? Music? Characters? Plot? What could the film have done better? How did you feel at the end? Is it a rewatchable film? What was the movie saying to you?
I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with the game They Are Billions.
It looks like just my kind of game, but I've heard practically nothing about and am curious to see what other people think of it.
lol I called it, they're sunsetting Fallout 76's Battle Royale mode in a few months. when /r/fo76 is taking it well, you know it's an unpopular game mode. I think there was more uproar at Survival getting cut
Also, double XP, free Fallout 1st trial, and free week for 76 for anyone considering playing. Lots of stuff for a new player to jump into
I'm sure it'll do fine. Even if the store itself dies down a bit, Epic is still throwing piles of money at their engine and coming out with some serious shit. Contrary to what Gamers™ seem to think, Epic's life doesn't hinge on the success of their new store, so it'll take a miracle for it to go badly.
Just for anyone looking for what epic is planning on doing:
Epic noticed that it has lacking features and wants to add them within the year. All this whining from These people are just proof that they are impatient even when the features don’t really apply to metro exodus.
Even cross play seems like a major objective of epic, something that only Microsoft has been trying to support out of the major store owners. This is a massive win for many people who wish to play with friends on different systems and I still fully support epic as they seem to be trying and giving an honest attempt at it.
Nice! Bioshock (unremastered) has a lot of problems itself though, so your issues probably won't be much better there. TweakGuides has an entire guide about making the game in a much better playable state. For Remastered, scroll down on PCGamingWiki to find fixes for specific issues you're having. It's such a good game but yeah very rough around the edges.
Huh, they actually did it: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-troy-mythos-release-date-faq/
Total war: Troy is getting a full on fantasy update (along with a more historical one, rather than the weird hybrid thing they have now)
I'm still sore about 3K, but this is nice.
How the fuck is this not goodwill? I agree Epic has its problems and still harbour skepticism as far as some of their policies are concerned, but had this been done by Steam, reddit gaming subs would have fucking exploded.
> This War of Mine is an M-rated title, which may be restricted by Parental Control settings for younger players. Whenever we choose a M-rated or PEGI-18 title as a weekly free game, we will also offer another free game that will be more accessible to players of all ages.

So Vampyr was released today and from the reviews the main vibe I'm getting is its one those double AA flawed but at the very least unique games
https://opencritic.com/game/6160/vampyr
I probably won't pick it up until its on sale but when I do I hope I enjoy it as much as the surge.
But don't you seeeeee!
If they make money off of mods they won't make any new games, just port skyrim forever! They'll shelve all new projects, and fire all writers and designers, only needing programmers to port!
Just like what rockstar did with GTA, they started making money on MP they fired everyone who doesn't make cars and stopped making single player content forever

So I started using this app to improve my workout on my stationary bike. I put in my weight, height, age and followed the exercise by keeping my heart rate in the rage it said.
It says that I've lost 700+ calorie in 45mins, that sounds overkill compared to the exercise I regularly do, I mean I sweat a lot and also it was pretty hard. If that's true then damn I don't mind doing that every day
I don't want to sound elitist or anything, but speaking as someone who has gone through the process of trying to find and buy a gaming laptop I find a bit hilarious how so many people are going on and on about how confusing the name "Xbox Series S" is when it isn't even close to the bullshit names gaming laptops tend to have, I mean look at this shit
LOOK AT IIIITTT!!
Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a Narrative-Adventure game about traveling, sharing stories, and surviving manifest destiny. Players wander across a folkloric Depression era United States at their own pace, meeting strangers with their own stories to tell.
Damn, looks cool.
So if anyone here has been in the mood to play HL2 again, a new mod recently came out called "MMod": https://www.moddb.com/mods/hl2-ep2-enhased-mod
It's pretty sweet, basically updating a ton of visuals and tweaking the gameplay and AI to modernize it a bit without changing the core feel of the game. Helps to make the game feel a little fresh again.
I just searched that to see where it came from and apparently it's from guys being mad about titties being allowed on twitch streaming.
So what, are they scared it's taking away views from them cause someone nicer to look at is doing the same thing? That's capitalism baby, get used to it.
Here's another gamer pop quiz, I'm posting a comment on a news article, take your guess what was the article about and then follow the link here. Okay, ready? here we go:
>I believe the interaction works thusly: > >You like a game, you buy it. > >You don't like a game, you don't buy it. > >How is this so difficult a concept for some people?
Another one:
>No no, this is the internets. Here is the internets version of that interaction. > >You like a game, you buy it. > >You don't like a game, you don't buy it and then spend copious amounts of time on message boards trying to ruin the lives of any people who have even THOUGHT ABOUT possibly renting the game in the near future (much less buying it at launch). Attempting to get a company to actually abandon production of said game through "inernet protest" being the most EPIC ass-hattery of life-ruining of this type ever attempted.
>I hope that cleared that all up for you, because that's exactly what's going on here.
I was bored one evening and bought Factorio!
It's still in early access, but feels close to finish. GUI is a bit ugly, and the graphics are from 2004, but it's fluent and clever. You should follow the campaign to learn the mechanics, but you also need work more than the campaign tells you.
For example, you're supposed to create kits to research new tech, and you could build just one chain of facilities to assemble said kits, but that would take you forever, so you need to flood the map with conveyor belts robotic arms, and assembly plants, or you'll never finish that assignment.
It's $17.16, new for PS4, on Amazon right now. I picked it up last week.
They came out with the 'Foundation' update a couple month ago that essentially added a quick menu system that lets you quickly 'recharge' your tools, ship systems, shields, etc. by pressing down on the d-pad, you can build save points, signal boosters, and comm relays anywhere on a planet by pressing up, and if you find an abandoned base on a planet, you can build on to it and stuff. You can also purchase a large Frigate that acts as a mobile base/storage area that follows you to each system. You can hire aliens to work for you and maintain your bases and develop upgrades for you. I haven't done much with it yet, but I know it's all there and apparently working pretty good.

Just the other day, an interview with Jeff Kaplan was posted to /r/CompetitiveOverwatch where he said that implementing a role queue system is a complicated issue, that it could lead to long queue times for people who queue as a DPS character, and that he wanted to try to solve some of the issues people think a role-queue system would solve before implementing such a system (the full article is here if you're curious). The comments in the /r/Competitiveoverwatch were insanely toxic. There were legitimate critiques of what he said here and there, but on the whole, people in that thread were incredibly angry that Jeff showed even a little bit of hesitation about implementing a role queue system. /r/CompetitiveOverwatch is normally more calm and level-headed about things than /r/Overwatch is, but man was that thread a shit-show.
And don't even get me started on the severe overreactions the forums and the main subreddit to literally any balance changes. Zenyatta got the fire rate of his secondary fire reduced by a measly 15%, but the way some people were reacting, you'd think that change would make him shit tier (which, of course, it didn't do).
