What is Reddit's opinion of Speeds Watch Face?

Yeah, I agree, especially with faces made for Watchmaker and similar apps. But what I'm talking about is that really nice watch faces, the kind with a lot of attention to detail and solid design aesthetics, will have crap ambient faces. Look at 'Speeds,' from the same people who make Skymaster: it's a great watch face, but the ambient mode is just some random, clunky face that has no real connection to Speeds.

There's one popular watchface dev (forgot their name) that offers the same couple of ambient mode faces for all their watch faces, and they have dozens. And Smartwatch Bureaux, a leader in digital style faces, often has no ambient mode at all. So you either burn down your battery and screen, or set ambient to go down to an unreadable brightness level.

Let's hope the rise of AMOLED watches and always-on changes this.
