The LGWR is fully up-to-date with all the latest functions of Android Wear
the possibility of having hotspots on your watchface is part of Google's watchface API - every watch running the latest AW update has this
however, you won't get the preinstalled watchfaces you saw on the moto or any other smartwatch as those are added by the OEM
I recommend you get Watchmaker (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=slide.watchFrenzy) which allows you to create your own watchfaces or use the countless provided by the community with custom hotspots
finally, battery: the LGWR / Urbane is hart do beat in that department
I'm quite a light user, but I get ~40 hours out of a single charge whith alway on, so 1 day should never be a problem
Bought this a while ago, and just got the gwr today. Ritche 22mm Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch Band Strap Straight End Solid Links Color Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DKYC7TK/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_biwxub1GCE93Z
There was an app called Baby something before Google added things like Theatre mode. Edit: Baby Time - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yonisamlan.wearbabytime&hl=en_GB - The reason Google haven't added something natively is because not all the Android Wear watches have a button, I believe the LG G Watch and the Gear Live don't have buttons and would therefore be unable to exit this mode if the touch interface was disabled.
Is it on all your screens? At first I thought it was just the next app in line..
Might suggest using a pixel fixer to see if it can "unstick" them, if they are stuck...

Good luck... if not, maybe SOL...
> ? 2. I use XBMC/KODI remote on my phone to control XBMC on my TV via a media player, is there a remote app for LGGWR?
I haven't used it for this exact purpose before, but it does have remotes for XBMC/Kodi: https://www.unifiedremote.com/
The pro version has an android wear app that that basically acts like a notification. You can customize the available buttons on this notification card for quick access. There's also a couple buttons for using the watch as a mouse and voice control.
You need to install this app on the watch: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.handwriting.ime
If you want all the best options, it's best to pay the IAP and get the premium edition of it, it's not much if I remember correctly.
There is an app that will forward phone call audio to your phone's speaker while listening through your watch's mic. This one.
I've found one app which can do that:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jwork.wearable.heartratesync2&hl=en
It works fine for me (but the battery consumption is obviously higher) and the good thing is that it can sync to google fit.
you need watchmaker app, free version have limitations so premium is the way to go
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=slide.watchFrenzy.premium
it's better money-wise than any other android wear watchface app on store.
Install Krona Sunlight and Wear aware. For me these two installs changed the watch so much from great to awesome.
Very cool. If you're looking for another analog face that looks really nice, try out Luminous. BTW, the testers version of Skymaster now has battery for both phone and watch which is cool.
Music control while driving, various watch faces, replying to texts and messages via voice is quite fun too
Works perfectly with a stock g3 on lollipop.
I'm still looking to find a black metal clasp strap
Shameless plug for my watch face: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.greenman.digilogue
Here's the band in the pic, I just bought it.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KD8J9C8/

I also have a rubber one for working out etc and a metal one for more formal settings. Get the 22mm quick release bands. No tools needed, super simple to change out bands.
it's the james bond nato style from here: http://www.amazon.com/Nylon-Striped-Black-Interchangeable-Replacement/dp/B005KKB4SW/ref=pd_sim_241_19?ie=UTF8&refRID=1B9R04C67DK84510HCRH
Also the watchface is one of the defaults on the watch, called GMT. I set the time zone to my local time zone and use the red hand as a 24hr hand.
So many people like this Ritche one, but I read that the color doesn't even match well with the GWR. Ended up getting this one which matches quite well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RE7SDQK
I like the combination of gloss and matte black metal
Get one of these. It will not only make it easier but will prevent you from damaging the case or the band.
I've still got the hiking watch face after upgrading. Checking the on-watch play store, it's listed as FitnessWatchface : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.watchface.fitness
After a while, my gwr has settled down a bit and is a bit more responsive now. I saw someone in another post recommend uninstalling some of the default watch faces, and that seemed to improve things a bit.
The watch may be overheating. Try installing Wear Temperature - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.quet.android.wear.temperature to see how hot the battery is running. I believe the watch will shut off when the battery gets to 140F.
Maybe use something like wear app manager to refresh it? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wearappmanager
I assume there will be a free equivalent product if you don't want to drop for this one.
I bought the "DRIVER" watch face and really enjoy it. Have been using it for about 6 months now, had it set to always on for a while, then went to ambiant mode, now I am in a turn screen off when not using it mode. I have never had any burn in when I was on the always on mode and have found the interactive face really nice. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.thema.wear.watch.drive&hl=en
Vizorwatch black. By far my favourite watch face of all. Great amount of info on screen and good ambient mode too.

Does the white portion ever change color? It could possibly be a patch of stuck pixels. If that were to be the case, you could try using this: Stuck Pixel fixer for Wear https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.lab102.watchstuckpixels
Ranger Military Watch Face - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.smartwatchface.watch.face.ranger.military
Skymaster Pilot Watch Face - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.smartwatchface.watch.face.aviator.android.wear
Hope you enjoy it. Download these two watch faces. Secret Agent (Goldeneye)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rmukapps.secretagent
And Pujie Black. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pujie.wristwear.pujieblack
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.greenman.digilogue is my own watch face that I developed
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=goko.ws2 is an app for finding wear related apps and faces
I've had this happen as well - check the wear app for the watch battery usage and see what's draining it. there is a task manager available for wear now, if it's a third party app that's draining the battery, you can try killing it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rocketstartups.weartaskmanager&hl=en
Otherwise, yeah - try restarting the watch.
Yeah I would try the headphones and see, maybe they don't have a good Bluetooth connection. That used to happen in my car and I switched the BT-A2DP adapter I was using and the problem was solved.
> Can you sideload music onto the watch?
I have not tried it yet, but I don't think there's a music player other than Google Play Music that allows you to play music on the watch, so if the Google Play Music Wear app on the watch doesn't handle your own music files, then I doubt it.
Edit: From another post, someone link to this Wear App that does it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mohammadag.wearmusic
Loving my G Watch R! Currently using Krona Sunlight as my daily driver. Still looking for a good "formal" one that could go with blacktie requirement.
Also works great with the Suunto Clippers Compass!
