What is Reddit's opinion of Star Walk 2 - Sky Guide: View Stars Day and Night?

Quite a well known one, but probably overlooked as qimicky. It's actually very cool for someone interested in space and a good way of showing kids the constellations.

Star Walk 2 (there is a free version)

Star Walk 2 has the same discount, but I found it needed a lot of in-app purchases for features which come standard in this version.

There's only a free version of Star Walk 2, but they're extremely similar - the second one just has some additional gimmicks available via IAP.

I've been trying a few of these apps recently, and while this might be the best for your needs, I suggest these are better (and free-er) options:

iTrack Wildlife. On the App Store, $14.99 and on Google Play, $14.99. Great app for leaning about tracking wildlife and IDing animal skulls, scat, foot prints and more. There is also a Lite version of the app if you want to try it out without buying it first.

Knots 3D. on the App Store, $1.99 and on Google Play, $1.99. Great app for learning how to do many types of knots and seeing how they are done in 3D.

Starwalk does the augmented view thing. There's a free version but I'm unsure if that has the camera feature
