You can customize the overlay to add exact time, a map screenshot, and a DoorDash logo. Now how are they going to claim food was undelivered? You could even change the text so say something like "GPS logged" or something similar, all as a deterrent against fraud as well as have extra proof incase orders do get marked as fraud.
i take my time with dropping off orders and make sure every item is documented up close and personal on camera, with timestamps and their address, then send those pictures to the customer in chat to let them know it's there. no one's reported anything "missing" or "damaged" since. they know you're not playing games anymore when you take these steps. timestamp camera app where you can enter an address manually, if gps doesn't get it right.
And don't just snap the picture from the DD app cam. If you switch to the app below when you're walking up to make the delivery, you can drop the order, snap picture and then upload it in the DD app as your walk away. Big benefit is that you have the time and date stamped image which auto adds the address geo location and if DD had a complaint about a delivery, you have the image too show them it was completed.

I use this timestamp camera when taking pictures after leaving at the door. If they ask for hand it to me, I use it to record video when I leave the car or about to get to their door. I am holding the phone anyways, they don't usually think anything of it, I just silence the phone.
If your on android you could even use tasker to open it automatically I bet.

I always make it obvious I am taking a picture of their place even if they are handed the order. Haven't received one of those yet so guess it is working. If your not comfortable doing that hit the video record button as you get out of your car and just hold it. The customer won't be able to tell that is what is going on and you will have a recorded event.
Just make sure if it is hand delivered you confirm their name first so they can't say you handed it to the wrong person.
Oh, and there are programs that watermark the image with the time and GPS location. Kind of hard to fake those lol They do tend to take a few seconds to get in the area and sometimes they are not the exact house number. The one I use takes two images one with the address and one without in case it does that.
Just head into the settings and you can change quite a bit for it. Real simple and easy.

They added these rules since in Early days of Ingress people would break phones and beat up people for taking their portals when they were doing large field projects. And due to it alot of players were banned for attacking others. It is worth reading the ToS before you click I Agree so you know what is in the Contract you have signed. Niantic isn't siding with the cheaters they just don't want users attacking each other making a bad name for them.

No need to confront them just prove they are cheating and bans come. Its very hard to tell if someone is cheating without visual proof. Its easy to deal with the cheaters. There use to be people here using multiple accounts to solo make lv10 gyms tons of spoofers. Now we are down to 1 spoofer and no one using multiple accounts. Just waiting till we get some proof to get the last one banned.
