The other option is buy a guitar pick punch and start selling guitar picks.
You know the worse part about this? House numbers are dirt cheap
This one says a million but I’ve only ever seen them with $100 or $20 and it looks really realistic. Basically assholes give them as tips so the person gets really excited, of course like who wouldn’t, but then they turn it over and it’s like “SIKE! Fake money! But here’s a prayer because that’s even better” It’s really fucked up
It’s an Amazon link and I’m reading the reviews and these people are sadistic as hell
I love it. There are a few on Amazon.

Wired to a momentary switch on my dash, it definitely gets your attention.
Has a guy sitting at a light infront of me on his phone when the light changed, i gave him 10 seconds to notice the change then gave him a toot, he jumped and yeeted his phone into his back seat.
I just grabbed THIS. Not only holds the drinks, but keeps them at whatever temp they need to stay. Not bad for under $30.
I personally like the magnet style over the clamp because it's easiest to take on and off and the clamp ones seem to wear out faster. I use this one
I'm new to it too, but I know IC's get charged somewhere between 20 and 30% of their gross income at tax time. I'm trying to set a little bit aside every week for when I get dinged @ tax time. Best way to minimize your tax payment is keep track of EVERYTHING. Receipts for gas, car maintenance/repairs, cell phone bills, mileage, any additional insulated bags/equipment you buy off Amazon or whatever, if it has anything to do with dashing, keep record of it. I recommend downloading TripLog from apple/Google Play. It automatically tracks your mileage, calculates your deductions and emails you a full report every week breaking everything down. It's awesome.

I do about 5 catering orders a week. This cart changed the game for me. You can get the amazon warehouse version cheaper some times. Some times only the package is damaged and they take off 20%.
I saw a YouTube video where a guy recommended this one. I've been please with it. It's not quite tall enough for the tall paper Outback bags, but I just fold the paper handles over at it works. So far it's been big enough from every double order I've had.

This one is solid, has deep pockets for large drinks.
I think keeping the DD hot bag can be useful at times, but definitely get an insulated catering bag. There are just too many orders that don't fit in the DD bag, and the catering bag will hold your stacked orders most of the time.
I will link the catering bag I'm using, but you may be able to find better for less. Also, the food divider it comes with was garbo (sized incorrectly) and not useful. Otherwise, no problems with the zippers or insulation material (unlike the DD bag).

And of course, it's tax deductible
DNS, known as Domain Name Services, resolves domain names (like reddit.com) to their IP address. This is useful because humans like names far better than numbers so it's easier to use. Think of it like a phone book or contact list.
"Tinkering" with DNS isn't going to improve order speed or numbers. The most that could happen after adjusting DNS on your phone would be losing access to Doordash's servers. In fact, a DNS problem is what caused the Doordash outage on July 17.
Domain name queries on your phone are handled by big guns servers hosted across the world. It's impossible for those servers to sway how Doordash distributes orders.
There's no gaming the system here. This dude's got a confirmation bias during a couple peak pays. At most, the DNS server he points to is flaking out (which is highly unlikely).

I’ve had it for 6ish years now and granted I haven’t ever thankfully had to spark it more than a few seconds, it keeps battery for a long time, and generally feels pretty sturdy.. and it comes with a belt holster so I feel safe wearing it like it won’t just accidentally discharge on me while driving 😅
That’s a good idea but I also purchased this charcoal deodorizer that hangs on the back of my driver seat from the head rest bars and it completely takes out any and all food order smells fairly quick to be honest. Random tip: I wanted to recommend a keychain you can buy that helps with this kinda thing and may help give you a peace of mind as well: no-touch keychain and you can get ones that can be naturally antibacterial/microbial too. But yanno, I still wipe mine off every so often too!
I put one of these on every order. Do they actually work? Who knows. My main goal with them is to avoid having customers think missing items are my fault and to try to increase my ratings. Anecdotally it seems to have increased the number of ratings I receive, and nobody has contacted me about missing items in over 150 deliveries. These are the labels I use, and they work well enough. It's a much better value than name brand stickers. You won't see any massive change, but for a few cents a piece I figure it's worth it.

You can customize the overlay to add exact time, a map screenshot, and a DoorDash logo. Now how are they going to claim food was undelivered? You could even change the text so say something like "GPS logged" or something similar, all as a deterrent against fraud as well as have extra proof incase orders do get marked as fraud.

Track your mileage and expenses with the Stride tax app.
Also set aside $$$ for a car maintenance fund.
Never drive to another zone because the app says it's busier. When you get there, the zone will go gray and you wasted time and gas. One of DD's little jokes.
Been using this one all week, pretty happy with it and I don't have to keep plugging my phone in every time I get in and out of the car.

NZ Home Food Delivery Bag, Insulated Reusable Grocery Bag | Ideal for Uber Eats, I... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071PDDXRW/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_fab_YVPEFb8M0WAYH
I bought that from Amazon for $19.99. Then I got a free red bag from door Dash but it’s like a third of the size and the zipper doesn’t work and even when the zipper does work it doesn’t really feel like it totally closes the bag and keeps all the heat in. So I don’t use that door Dash one I prefer the Amazon one. This thing is big enough to put most pizzas in and I can fit like three of those BIG paper bags from chipotle or McDonald’s lined up in a row in there easily, with room to spare. Nothing slides around, it’s not slippery in there at all and even when I said a carrier full of drinks in there I put it so that it’s up against the back of the seat for a little extra security but they have never slid around and never never toppled over. when I unzip it sometimes steam comes pouring out the top and steams up my windows! So it is seriously keeping the food hot. I have a Saturn and it fits beautifully on the front passenger seat. I have it facing the back of the seat so that when I unzip it the top flap can be flipped over backwards so it’s hanging down over the floor area. When I had it turned the other way and I’d flip it up it kept falling back down on me because it hit the seat. So that’s what I would recommend. I’m about to hit 300 deliveries so I haven’t been doing this long enough to give you better advice than most of the people on here, they may have better suggestions. but it’s working very well for me.
I got one off Amazon that was only like 18 bucks. Wireless charging and I have it hanging right next to my AC vent so it stays nice and cool.

If you're on a tight budget, I recommend the RexingV1. I bought one back in May and it's perfect for what I need. I'm sure more expensive ones have more features, but if you're just looking for a camera with wide angle, audio, SOS saving, and readable license plates, this one is great.

It’s $40 and I just place it on my lanyard with my keys. I’ve had CV’s for order not delivered and disputed them with body cam footage. Removed within minutes. Has definitely saved me a few times already! Get one!
This is the exact reason; I deliver every order on a piece of 15x15 red and white checkered parchment paper. I never place an order on the ground, it always goes on paper. Many customers don't want their order left on the dirty ground, despite what the delivery instructions say. Look at it from the customers perspective: they pay good money for the food; they pay money for a service to have it delivered, and then they tip the driver on top of that. Then their order just gets dumped on the dirty ground, I would want not my food delivered like that. Placing paper under their order will get you extra tip money. I recently did a post on this, and some drivers have already messaged me telling me it is working for them. Go check out the post. Here is a link to the delivery paper if you're interested. https://www.amazon.com/Checkered-Wrapping-Sandwich-Restaurant-Sandwiches/dp/B09YL3KJWX/ref=sr\_1\_4?crid=1GBEB41I9ZY40&keywords=deli+paper+sheets+15x15&qid=1669121534&sprefix=deli+paper%2Caps%2C138&sr=8-4

Definitely invest in the flashlight. I got one like this for a birthday gift a few years ago. I never have to charge it, I just leave it in my car. It's seriously bright as hell.
I have seen it as cheap as $10 before, so you may want to poke around for the best price.
If you do this full time, and plan on joining the large order catering program at any point, just go ahead and invest in a nicer bag, something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Insulated-Instacart-Postmates-Restaurant-Transport/dp/B09HQSXGGB/
Everything anyone could ever throw at you will fit into it. But be super careful ordering bags off Amazon, most of them are absolute trash.
You did the right thing from what it sounds. Even flooring the gas out of there was smarter than sticking around, bullets don't have crumple zones lol
One recommendation I give to every car owner I know, doordash or not, is to get a dash cam.
Some reliable ones can cost a few hundred, but it'll more than make up for the cost if you even need the footage from it.
Depending on the angles and distance, it's likely you could have got their plate and even an imagine of them holding the gun. Which is good for reporting him, and double good for holding him accountable if things went differently.
I have this one for my car and am pretty happy with it: https://www.amazon.com/Viofo-Dashboard-Camera-Vision-G-Sensor/dp/B07CT6JPYW
It's a very "set it and forget" accessory you won't have to touch again until you need footage.
I can explain more if you'd like, but either way I'm glad you're safe.
i absolutely love the one i have

there is a drawback with magnetic mounts. if you have a bulky case, you might have issues. if you you're like me and hate bulky cases, this is perfect
The body cam I use is very small. I keep my car fob on a lanyard that I wear around my neck. I attach the camera to the lanyard right above my car key (it has magnets, like you would see on a name tag). As I’m approaching the destination, I turn on the camera to begin recording. It’s very simple and doesn’t take anymore extra effort other than turning it on and off by the click of a button. Not one single time has anybody ever commented on the camera. I’ve delivered to businesses, hospitals, schools, homes, etc and not once has anybody ever asked or commented about the camera. Not once. It’s saved me from CV’s on multiple occasions. If you’re interested, this is the cam I use: Small Body Camera 1080P Full HD. Hope this helps!
The first one I bought had the 'foil' lining and started ripping at the Velcro stitching. This one may be a bit pricey, but when customers see you using it instead of trying to jerry-rig two DD bags together, it makes them feel better and possibly tip extra.
Mods: if linking to a product on Amazon is a no-no, I'll understand if you delete it and slap me in my mouth.
May I suggest a drink bag, you won't ever have to worry about spilling a drink again. I have two six pack drink bags; I have never had a drink order I couldn't handle easily. Well worth the money, as this will save you a world of hassle in the long run. The camera built into the dasher app doesn't save pictures.
Any camera app, including the default camera app for your phone is a better option.
I personally use this app for taking pictures of deliveries because I like the location, date, and time watermarked directly on the image.
So, you carry the drinks to the door in that thing, that must be awkward. Why not just buy some good drink bags, it will make transporting drinks much easier, with no chance of spillage. You also look much more professional to the customer using the proper equipment. Here is the link to the bags I use; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092LWQCZW?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
Why not just buy a drink bag and forget the nonsense with towels. Drink bags will prevent any mishaps from happening, and you look much more professional to the customer. Plus, if you're transporting any type of frozen drink, it will prevent them from melting. Well worth the money as this ends the dilemma of transporting drinks safely. I have 2 of these bags. They've held up for over 18 months and re still in great shape.
They are large enough that almost every order I have ever gotten (8000 orders) have fit in these bags. I've had a couple of Chipotle Catering orders that came in large boxes that wouldn't fit in the bag, but they wouldn't have fit in any bag.
@ $25 they are not the cheapest bags, but you get what you pay for. I bought a couple of bags that were 2 for $20, and they were great for the 4 months they lasted, but then they started falling apart.
I recommend the bags I have:

Mini Led Flashlight, Handheld Flashlight, 400 Lumens Outdoor EDC Rechargeable High Bright Multi-Functional Keychain Flashlight, with UV Light and Warning Light, P65 Water Resistant for Camping Hiking
I use this specific model:
BOBLOV PD70 WiFi Body Camera... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0838X9TQH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I also use this magnetic mount to hold the camera on my vest:
BOBLOV Body Camera Magnet Mount,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J3N9Y5N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The camera isn't the top quality model, but it's reasonably priced, has several features such as night vision mode, photo mode, audio mode, and vibration whenever you press the on button and video recording mode (very useful for me since I'm deaf and I can't hear tones.)

Or go to the hardware store and get a cheap carabiner, just check the latch and make sure it doesn't have a gap that will regularly catch your belt loop and tear it.
Kinda handy to reach down by your side and be able to consistently hit the unlock button on your fob without digging in your pocket and working out which way it's oriented to hit the right button.
You asked this question a couple days ago...
If you're traveling out of state, you have to be outside of a zone to see your last dashed zone in the scheduling page.
You *could* also try to use a GPS spoofer to change your location back to your home, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Since so many people asked it’s this it’s a pretty powerful rechargeable flashlight I use a lot to find house or apt numbers and then the zap zap end built in for whatever you might need it for. Love the rechargeable flashlight part though and it comes with a belt holder.
One of us!
Excellent rig, but body mounted food is better for hard acceleration, bumps, and cornering at high speed.
I run an old SV650 with a GSX-R front end, this backpack and this drink holder.
I know others have said it, but please be careful and remember you are invisible to idiots! Looks like you already have the proper commercial insurance, so you're probably smart enough to run proper gear and cameras. Good luck!
This is what you need. I've used Sabre products professionally for many years and this is very effective and a good value too.
Get your own on Amazon. Get one of the XXL bags so that no matter how big the order is, it will fit. Also, if you get invited to DD's large order program, you'll already have the right size bag.
I'm on my 2nd year with this bag, and it's like new:

I've used activity launcher for Android to bypass Dasher's bugginess in the past. You get Dasher to the point you're logged in and stop. Then you use activity launcher to start "activities" which are beyond the activities which you assume would be logging you out. Because those activities have steps and potentially those checks and balances.
By activity, that is dev talk for each individual screen you'd see in Dasher. Some are fragments, but most are activities. There is one for the sign in screen. The maps screen. The setting screen etc. If they're exported in the app's manifest, you can launch them at will. If not, root is required.
It was a workaround I found used while every driver nationwide was having issues logging in. DD fixed it the following day or two. Worth a try.
Just ordered this one myself.
This. I have a W-2 and DoorDash to supplement my income. They made me stay late one night and my boss was like "It's raining anyway!" I'm like yeah, that's the best time to deliver since no one wants to get out in the rain!
To answer your question I use one of these pouches. You can still use the touchscreen on your phone, just not the fingerprint sensor. It also makes the screen a little less sensitive which is a positive for me since raindrops will press buttons on my phone! Before I had the bag it would accept orders, mark as picked up, ect if there was water on my screen.
I've been using this and it works really well. Keeps the phone cool with the AC vent. Sturdy. I've always liked the magnetic based holders but I don't have a phone with wireless charging.
Really!, your going to hold the drinks on every turn, you have to see that is utterly ridiculous. Why not just have the proper bag so you don't have to worry about holding the drinks going around turns. Try this it will make your life a lot easier; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092LWQCZW?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
Buy kitchenaid commercial cleaning caddy for $15 on Amazon. It's perfecting divided to hold 8 drinks.
I bought a little insulated drink bag. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RPBP22R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's sturdy and sits on the floor of the passenger side, keeps things cold/hot and since the drink trays are removable it can act as a bonus small insulated bag if you need one, although the top is just three little flaps, so it's not great for a long haul. Overall I'm really happy with it, though. My only complaint is that if something DOES spill it can be a bit of a pain to clean.
I use this its very effective. My phone is right on the dash though so I clip it onto the rear view.
