I use this app called Wonderwall. I really love the tone of the wallpapers it recommends since I tend to like more dark and underexposed pictures. Bright pictures tend to make my eyes water and are hell when I unlock my phone when I have a migraine. This app has a lot of nice nature and city themed clicks with a VSCO kind of look which I personally lean towards. They update you with a "wallpaper of the day" too.
P.S - The app is completely free but you can donate to the developer through an IAP setup via the Play store.
This is the best wallpaper app ever IMO:

There is this from google too:

The Wonderwall app pulls from photographs uploaded by their creators, and I have it set to change my wallpaper to a random new one every four hours.

That's a stunning picture!
I see many people set it as wallpaper already. I'm the developer of the (quite popular) wallpaper app Wonderwall for Android. If you're interested in bringing it to even more people, I will gladly share it! We accept submissions through our site.
Hey /r/Android,
Besides the fact that today is my birthday, I've also released a new app this week! (And I think you’ll love it!)

About
I run a blog named Wonderwall where I upload 1 nature or landscape photo everyday. (Only those with a license that allow it) This app lets you to browse through the photos and set them as wallpaper within 1 touch. And by implementing Google's Material Design principles, Wonderwall works super convenient.
Features
What makes Wonderwall special?
Most wallpaper apps, like Wally or Wallmax, give you desktop backgrounds which are meant to be viewed in landscape orientation. They crop those to your phone, which is a portrait viewing mode. Because those backgrounds aren't supposed to be viewed that way they often don't look thát good anymore.
Wonderwall offers you wallpapers which are already in the portrait viewing mode, thus looking much better on your phone!
EDIT: minor text changes
Anyway, here's wonderwall.
