I saw these the other day and I'm still trying to make sense of it, unless they mean perfect size for 1 mug cake? do they sell the mug cakes in 4 packs? that would make sense since the frosting has 4 servings. Edit: Yeah, that explains it. DH mug cakes come in 4 packs and they don't include frosting. "Perfect Size for 1" is their product name (instead of mug cake) so I feel like the marketing department must've been really drunk/high the day of approval.
PS I've tried them and I find it offensive to call these things cake.
You can buy a six-pack for $10-something on Amazon. Love adding just a splash of this and a sprinkle of stevia in my coffee... throw it in the blender for a few and it feels like a guilt-free poor man’s latte.
I've been eying this brand from amazon but do keep in mind while lower calorie they have like 80% of your daily sodium per serving
I take pills! Specifically these ones. They have been working for me and are more affordable. I used to take gummies but those were not high enough CFU for me. I used to get crazy bloated, throw up after meals, and generally feel sick to my stomach a lot (it seemed every food triggered it). I also used to be really prone to yeast infections. No more of this unless I make a combo of particularly bad eating/drinking decisions in a night lol. It dramatically improved my life.
It’s a Buzio! Imgur won’t let me login right now to get you a pic, but it’s this one, from Amazon
Yup!
The box says you should prepare with milk and butter, but it tastes fine with just water. So, it’s an entire box of mac and cheese for 700 calories.
My grocery store has $0.50 shitty macaroni and cheese, but most grocery stores in the US have a generic shitty mac that they sell. Here is the $0.99 one I found on Amazon just now.
Edit: It’s 720 calories.
High concentrated drink flavoring 0 cals! It's marketed for adding to water but I feel like a couple drops of lemonade in each pop using this tea would be delish. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007GE42P2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xSXcFbQDCW6XA
For flavored coffees, Meijer and other grocery stores carry them. I recently ordered my latest decaf coffee from a roaster called Boston Stoker since I haven't been in to the grocery store, but it's a lot more expensive. Panera also has a variety of flavored coffee that I adore- it's hazelnut flavored. However do be aware that there's no nutrition facts on the bag, but it's 10 calories per cup. So don't go too crazy with it, haha.
As for the Torani syrups, my local grocery store carries them in the coffee aisle. You can also find them on Amazon. Just make sure that you order the sugar free! The syrups can also be added to sparkling water for homemade soda, or mixed in with desserts (drizzled over bread pudding or ice cream or pancakes or whatever...) For my low calorie hot chocolate, I sometimes drink "Lakanto Drinking chocolate" but it's pretty pricey. It's 10 calories per cup.
If you want something cheaper and don't mind putting in some effort, try making Alton Brown's hot chocolate recipe but use swerve instead of the powdered sugar. It comes out to 20 calories per cup if you use the swerve. I can verify that it lasts in the pantry for a while, and I've used it to tackle many chocolate cravings. If you have enough calories left, you can stir some PB2 into your cup of hot chocolate, which is quite tasty as well. I gave jars of it out as Christmas gifts to people who planned on starting new diets at the new year as my little way of showing support.
Sorry for the wall of text! I hope that helps.
Most of their chocolates are heavy in calories, but not their suckers. They're dense and flavorful!
Here they are on US Amazon, I'm not sure if there's a easy way to get them in Canada
They're 80 calories per 1 sucker.
My grandma used to put these in my Christmas stockings, so I have a particular fondness for them. The chocolate is my favorite flavor :)
Happy to help!
I'm not from such a cold place but I have heard light boxes like this can help ward off SAD during the cold months. My boss loves hers and bought them for her whole family lol
My mother-in- law has one of my bento boxes right now, so I'll just share a link. I also have a sailor moon bento box that's a similar size that I like.
I've been using one called Track w/ a barcode scanner for most of the year. It's great imo, but I have nothing to compare it to.
Adding one of these packets to soups really makes almost anything delicious. It is similar to bullion cubes with way more flavor and less salt.
If you add them to any ground meat dishes, Rice, soup, stews, anything slow cooked, it makes it so much better.
These are exactly what they send in the HelloFresh boxes and it’s one of the main reasons their meals taste so good when you cook them!

Women actually need a wider seat than men, because we got them birthing hips. There are instructions online for how to sit on cardboard and measure the impressions left by your sit bones to figure out what size seat you want. Ergon is an excellent brand to start with. I am 5’3” and 107lbs, and need this style in size medium/large!

I’m in Australia so I get them at Woolworths, the brand is good snack company.

Here’s a different brand made in the us and available on Amazon, haven’t tried them though !
This one! Only $11USD.
Idk about the Amazon basics one but I’ve used this (multiple colors) to lose over 50+ lbs successfully. It’s also really highly rated and only ~$10 for the cheapest one. It has multiple units and is really lightweight so you can put it anywhere or travel with it.

Hello fellow gallbladder-less friend. I feel you on that. My surgeon told me before my operation that I'd be "able to eat everything" but post-op like yourself I was one of the unlucky ones that couldn't digest many fatty things (butter really gets me).
BUT THERE IS HOPE! I found out about ox bile and it has been a game changer for me! I just take one or two 125 mg pills (depending on how greasy the food looks) before my first bite and it's as if I never lost my organ.
I can't recommend it enough. Eat that pizza (but like don't....because calories). Oh and by the way the normal price of the bottle is like 10 or 15 dollars....I don't know why Amazon is selling it for 40 dollars right now (supply chain?). Anyway...hope this helps you!
So what I've done is I went head over heels into the world of tea. I found a bunch of teas (mostly green teas) that I can drink without anything added. It's reached the point now where I have a straight up tea drawer in my desk at work and a 42 oz loose leaf tea pot that I just refill constantly. Having a ton of types of tea, especially loose leaf definitely adds some interest to the mornings and helps curb both hunger and boredom eating. Drinking a lot of green tea also helps keep things moving digestively speaking too.
For those who wanna get into the world of teas instead of coffee, especially loose leaf teas, TeaForte has some super cute sets with infuser cups and single steep loose leaf teas so you can sample a bunch and figure out what flavors you like. They were my entry into the loose leaf tea world specifically. The little Kati cups they have are so awesome for just having a nice tea at your desk. There are also a ton of other brands out there with different styles of infuser cups and sample sets, these guys just happen to be what I got one Christmas that started me down the tea rabbit hole.
I use this one daily and I absolutely love it, it's simple and great.
My only recommendation as someone who uses mine 3049287 times a day and sometimes with plates or bowls that hide the numbers is: if you can find one that has the numbers on a retractable display, maybe splurge for that. I know I will next time.
Equal makes little coffee creamer pods that you can keep at your desk! It's about 10 cals per squeeze and its SUPER creamy! I use to need about 4 tablespoons of regular coffemate creamer but with equal it is just as creamy with two squeezes.
You can buy a stand that turns your bike into a stationary bike starting at $60 now - if that's what you want to do, it seems worth it https://www.amazon.com/Exercise-Magnetic-Reduction-Flywheel-Mountain/dp/B08B395VP9
that's probably the safest bet if 100-200 calories up or down is important to know.
Or buy a travel scale to carry with you. I have this one, it's about the size of a smart phone with a thick battery.
If you live in the US, Amazon sells a gigantic 24 pack of roasted seaweed for ~$15 (at 25 cal/pack). I have only tried the wasabi flavor but it is beyond delicious!
I forgot to take a picture because I immediately ate them, but I had pancakes and syrup this morning for <400 calories. Regular pancakes that my husband enjoyed too- no protein powder, fancy flours, etc.
Here is the recipe. It also includes instructions for making pancake mix to save for later. I cut the recipe in half and got 6 pancakes that were a few inches in diameter. My serving of 3 pancakes was 362 calories.
To keep the calories in check, you have to use a quick spray of PAM cooking spray and either a cast iron pan (preferred) or a non-stick pan. My pancakes didn't get stuck. If you have a laser thermometer, you want a 375 degree F pan. Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup (~60 mL) to scoop your batter.
For my toppings, no butter (sorry!) I use Maple grove brand sugar free syrup. Kroger and Meijer have it and so does Amazon. Fat free redi wip with sugar free smuckers jelly would also keep your count under 400 calories for breakfast.
Hopefully someone finds this helpful!
I bought these from Amazon. So worth it. 120cal/bag and small portions. Even if you eat two it's smaller than a "small" bag from the store.
I use Libra, which is android friendly! Really helps me see if I'm on track with my goals (currently not...but not too far off, either)
Here it is in the google play store Android app
I use regular oil, but one of these types of sprayers. So much easier to get a small amount of oil across the entire pan fairly evenly.
I have one of these jar openers and it’s works amazingly well. I can now open all jars easily, including talenti jars.
Adding black salt / Indian kala namak mineral salt too!!! It contains a little sulfur and makes it taste more like egg. Turmeric and black salt are popular in tofu scrambles, but I like the idea of adding them to egg whites as well!

I am also trying to eat more intuitively! Its hard, since i have a history of binge/purge. I have been working through the intuitive eating workbook and can genuinely say it challenges me in a good way. I have a lot to learn and unpack!
I love fitindex. I just bought their newest scale. It connects to wifi (and Bluetooth), I have a previous model that also connects to Bluetooth. They do body fat and all that and it all gets logged in the app.
My new one and my previous model were exactly the same when I weighed myself and I've taken the older one to the doctors office with me to compare and they were also right at the same mark.
I'll grab the link
15% off promo code (from the fitindex app) 8NB74NPM
But you should download the app yourself first and see if there's a better code for you, the one I used a few days ago was 30% off
And there's a $5 coupon on Amazon you can clip
https://www.amazon.com/Primula-Press-Iced-Tumbler-Black/dp/B0765V7CHY/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=iced+tea+cup&qid=1554735918&s=home-garden&sr=1-5 I have one of these. I use it to make hot herbal tea into iced tea. Fill the inner cup with ice, then put hot water and a tea bag/looseleaf herbal tea up to the line in the outer cup. Let it steep for a few minutes, then press the inner cup into the outer cup to ice the tea. It works wonderfully and I can have fresh fruit tea infusions on the go anywhere I can get ice and hot water. You can also get one of those pill boxes with all the different day spots in it and use it to carry a variety of teas with you and one or two of those 'days' can be filled with stevia or another sweetener if you need it. Add the sweetener to the hot cup, not the ice cup, so it dissolves best.
This thing is seriously a life saver for me.
If you're on the go a lot and you have a favourite place to get tea (or decaf coffee--it works for coffee too) order a small hot tea (or black hot coffee) and a cup of ice on the side and you can do the exact same thing to get an instant iced drink, usually cheaper than buying an iced drink! If you work somewhere that has a work fridge, you can also ask your coworkers if they'd be cool with you keeping a covered ice tray in the freezer so you always have ice to make tea or iced coffee with.
Unfortunately I bought it years and years ago in Mexico and this seems to be the only thing I can find of it. If you search around for kitchencrafts colourworks you might have more luck https://www.amazon.com.mx/Kitchen-KitchenCraft-Colourworks-Electronic-Scales/dp/B004AKCBCG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1534859707&sr=8-4&keywords=colourworks+bascula
I use this one Amazon Smile Link. There are quite a few similar ones. I definately recommend a small amount of oil spray and salt BEFORE popping, and pull it as soon as you get close to 2 sec without a pop. I get my popcorn form the farmers market, but I've done it with the stuff from the grocery store and thrive markets sprouted popcorn, and all of it turns out really well as long as you are VERY careful not to over cook it.
